It is a white 99 trans am with a raptor hood. I do not have a lot done to it other than a stall, true ram air, and a landers racing transmission. It has chrome c6 wheels and is fresh painted. The tag says I8AGT.

I8AGT, I noticed in your Sig that you are running a PTC convertor. How do you like it? I'am in the begining locating parts for a H/C/I swap. I just purchased some Patriot stage 2 heads which are at Patriot getting worked, I also have purchased a Fast 90 & a Nick Williams 90mm TB. All that I lack is the camshaft & convertor.

I don't know if it was all stall though as some of that probably has to do with his transmission, Billy Landers builds a mean 4l60e, its definitely stout...
i'm still slow, lol... my best 1/8th right now is 8.50s......but, that was at Steele and though it was on a cold night(late October) on a Midnight Madness night when they didn't have any VHT on the track......though it probably still hooks better than North Alabama on a great night, lol

his car gained over a half a second through the 1/8th with the built 4l60e and PTC stall before the headers/y-pipe... with just a lid, he was going 8.90s-9.0s and after it, while lighting up the tires off the line, he went 8.30s... with any kind of traction he'd have been in the 7s I think, or very close... and that was without the headers or any kind of tune and at good 'ole North Alabama, lol...

the Lt1s seemed to go through 4l60Es like crazy anyway though... and i'll just say, Billy Landers has taken a car down North Alabama faster than probably anyone on this forum, lol...with one of his own transmissions
i'm not saying you didn't have a junk build, they do happen... hell, I had a dealership rebuild my transmission under warranty with their certified GM Mechanics(not this car); 2 days is what I got out of the "rebuild" before it grenaded and that was replacing every piece in the transmission, my brother can back me on that... after that, they just ordered me a new one, lol

I have only had the one I have now built by him but it seems to be good so far but we will see. I did pay a little extra to have some tougher internals put in it. Who built slobirds trans in case I do have problems I will know where to go.
