This is Shawn's wife, Lauren. He's in surgery now, but if anyone wants to help, the blood bank at Our Lady of Lourdes is accepting donations in his name if anyone in the Lafayette area is able & willing to donate. Thanks for the prayers! Please pass this along to anyone you think may help.

I haven't seen him but from what people who have visited him says he'sdoing good. He is out of ICU and will be at Lafayette General Hospital. I won't get into the specifics of his injuries but he will have a long recovery. He mentioned on the other forum he should bewalking by August. I'm glad he is doing better and wish him a speedy recovery.

Hey guys I really appreciate all of the blood that was donated for me and all of the prayers that have been for me and my family. It seems when I pulled out of the parking lot at Don's the axle snapped. I lost control and hit a culvert head on. Never even ,ade it out of 1st. Had my feet on clutch and brake when I hit which resulted in 1 broken foot, 2 broken legs, 2 broken Knees and a few bones poking out of the skin. I will still be a while befor I can put any type weght on my legs at all. I know I have about 24 screws in my left leg alone. Doing therapy that leg is very heavy. thanks again guys I will and keep you updated.
