Default Machine shops in or near Raleigh?

Looking for a good machine shop to do some cylinder head work. I live in Raleigh but would ship them out if i could find some place good. Anyone know a good shop??

I would talk to the guys at RPM in Garner i am sure they can help you out or point you in the right direction

You could also check out Mayhem Motorsports. They are in N Raleigh off of Capital near 540. They've done all my work. great and honest guys to work with. They're web page is their name with a .net added on.

Thanks for the info, I forgot RPM is in Garner. I'm not the biggest fan of Mayhem as far as tuning goes but i'll check with them also.

I've had basic machine work done at the CarQuest machine shop by Hillsborough street. Though I'm not sure they could help you with what you are trying to do.

Loop Road in Garner does cheap but quality machine work. I know every guy there personally.

Thanks again for the info. I called a bunch and they were hesitant about doing some of the things I was asking for. It turned out that TEA hooked me up so i'll be sending them up there. Just have to wait for them..
