I hate to burst someones bubble but the only people that will be allowed into the track that day are people riding in a car that has a NTI student in it. ID badges will be required. I'm not trying to be a dick but that is the way it has been done in the past.

actually, last time they had it nothing was checked, you had to have no proof of an nti student, no helments, no battery hold downs.... yada yada. but it may be different this time around, who knows, on the poster it says "family and FRIENDS welcome" ya'll are my "friends" so i dont see any problem in comeing.

yep, talked to an instructor today and he said pretty much anyone could come and watch. he said you should be able to run as long as you get their for inspection 11:30-12:30 but he was not too sure about that. but anyone is welcome to come and watch for sure!

Ya he is still teaching at NTI, but i don't expect to see him at the drag day. Well he might be there but probly won't be running, he says "I know how fast the car is, and until i do something to make it faster it won't be going to the track".

Damn Dehart is still there. I didn't think he would still be there this long. He is a kick *** teacher. Is the 10 bolt still holding up to his car. If anyone has him as a teacher tell him Josh with the Turbo 3rd Gen T/A will be back in mooresville someday. I went to NTI like a year and a half ago.

Is this the black one that goes to UNCC. My room mate went for a ride in the car the other day and said it felt strong. But he said he didn't think he had dynoed the car just, that they were just exoecting 450hp but if he put down 485 that might be a decent race for me at the track.

yeah it is, the other day he was actually only running like 19# of boost and with that he dynoed 415/385, they never put the boost back up for when he was running hte tune wiht the meth. they fixed that and now he is 485/485, it felt strong before but now its rediculous, with that gearing and awd its wicked.

Yeah bolton that was my third gen. It made 500 lbs of torque and just shy of 500 hp on 10 psi and with the water temp at 240-250 could have made closer to 550ish is she was cooled down. Also my T/A is true streetcar the only car to get pretty close was a kid and his dad's t-bird racecar which was trailered there. I drove my car to school like 1-2 times a week. I wanted to dyno again with some c02 or nitrous to cool my IC but I pissed off Mr. Adams. I wanted to race Dehart be he said he didn't have a need cuz he would have had me LOL. But he is a cool teacher. Who is your teacher now?
