Default Need a Good Georgia LS1 Speed Shop?
RP Motorsports and/or ModernDayMuscleCars?......They have the same address in Marietta,GA. Does anybody know if these guyz do good work? Fair labor and parts pricing? Any info about these guyz would be great!!! I have a friend with an STS Turbo kit and lots of bolt on's but needs more mods done such as heads and cams(maybe internals as well),custom tune,etc....Please let me know about these guys or who you would recommend in Georgia he can take it to that specializes in LS1's. THANX!!!

Stay away from RP Motorsports!! I have heard a lot of bad things from a lot of people about them.

Same company, different owner.

I've heard nothing positive about them for years.

Lamar Walden Automotive is where I'd check. Expensive but good IMHO.
Also, lots of talk about MTI (reese *** ) from the vette boys.

My customers that have done biz with MTI tell me that MTI is expensive and slow..

I'd listen to Steve here...forget about MTI then. Thats the same **** they said about them back in 1996 along with LOTS of other BAD stuff.

You might want to contact ssrallyred (ken)...he runs a shop here in snellville and has done tons of mods on LS1 cars around the atlanta area..he knows what he is doing and works fast and has fair prices...I'll PM you his work number..

Call Matt at MK performance.. He worked for Lamar Walden Auto for a while but the commute was to much. Does Great work at good price.

It is near 575 off Hwy 92 exit. Road is called Industrial Dr. I think. It is across from Sonny's BBQ about 1-2 mi from 575
