i will more than likely keep it as a spare... not sure but i will be using the lifters crank and rods so i will put it back as a 370

looks like i am about to faceplate my trans 2100 for that so my LSx fund is going to go way down and the L92 block is 1400 new... figure i could find one used for a little cheaper... waiting on becks to come up with a price on a sheet metal intake

and i need to decide on a different cam i believe kinda still planning... i need to actually draw up some plans or something so i can talk myself out of another 5-6K in the motor

Why are you wanting to swap all this? That motor is fresh. Just curious...

all in the chase for some 8's na

the reason i say 8's is because LS1Joe went 9.37 with there 385 M6, so i need to shoot for 8.99-9.0

only thing i would be swapping is Intake, Block, Pistons, and a different cam

So swapping displacement is going to lower your times? Just strip that thing down, Im talking to the nit picking stuff like cutting all ends of the bolts off and etc.

already have... I have went as far as to remove wires that i don't use panels that are hidden and so on so forth the car has been on the colonel diet.

i refuse to take out the carpet seats and panels that retain the "stock" look... I am looking for weight savings from going from a lorn 6.0 to an Aluminum 6.2

also I am not going on a diet easier for the car to lose weight

The car is already lite... the main effect would be going to L92 heads with the 2.18 1.59 valves, i forgot to mention that in the earlier post, those suckers flow a little less than my ported heads do stock, I need more air to make more power.

Dang good luck man, that car will be moving. Have you checked out the fiberglass dash that VFN makes its lite, and you can prob just put your guages in it and prob lose 25-50 lbs maybe. Get some lightweight carpet.
