Finally going to mod the T/A
Looks like I'm going to be getting a hefty tax return. With the exception of a Hooker Head Cat Back, this 01' Automatic is bone stock. In detail, if I'm looking to get 400 HP how would I do it. I want to add proven mods that I can feel. Please be specific with the mods and also, how much will they cost.
Thanks guys!

If I had it to do over again, I'd do tires/rear, clutch(or stall), fuel system upgrades and a WET kit...... and be DONE with it.
Tires- $350.00 +/-
Clutch/stall- $600.00 +/-
Rear- $2000.00 +/-
Fuel system- $500.00 +/-
TNT kit- $500-1000.00
400+ rwhp and 11's all day long-

Depends on if you wanna go N/A or F/I. If you still want the car to run like it does now invest your money in a good nitrous setup. Get you some longtubes and ory to go with your hooker. Racetronix fuel system upgrade, a good wet kit and all the supporting accesories. You go with a 100-150 shot and you will be right at or well over your 400rwhp goal and have lots of torque to go along with it.
However I dont think anyting sounds better than a cammed LS1. Go with a decent size cam and some worked LS1/6 heads and all the supporting mods. Eith way you go 400rwhp is not too far off with a little cash. With your A4 your rearend should hold up pretty well but I would also suggest a decent stall, matched to whatever your mods are. But the best advice anyone can gove is this, call Ron@vengeance or mike and tell them exactly what you want or tell them what you have in mind and they will get you to your goal and give you peace of mind as well.

Being blown is nice but it is Way too expensive.. ..you can get to 400+ RWHP for under $2000 including the tune if you do your own installation of the parts...

Sounds like you were hooked on the bottle...a bottle a day leads to a short engine life if it is not forged...and probably out side of the envelope in this guys application ... SC is going to cost $6000 or more..if the goal is 400 RWHP on a non forged motor there are a lot of bottle fills in that difference figure ...but lets just say that this guy uses the bottle that much you will need to figure the cost of the new short block he is going to have to buy cause that stock short block is not going to take that kind of abuse for any length of time..

If i had it to do all over again, i'd do a forged 370...hptuners 3 bar...91mm thumper...9" rear and a 4l80e. Next time i'd go straight to this instead of small steps in between that ended up costing a LOT!
