Default i put my foot in my mouth!!!!!!!!!!!! please help racing a 6.50's car this weekend

ok i opened my mouth for real.i poped of to my dad that i could outrun his promod with my bone stock 06 gsxr 1000.only thing is i believe i can take him in the 1/4 but he wants to race me in the 1/8.it ran 6.5's or faster last time it went out but that was about 2 1/2 years ago.ran a best of a 6.20@118 it is a full steel body nova weighs in at about 3400lbs without a driver.5500 stall, tubbed and narrowed and cut's consistant .98-1.00 sec 60's.my question is does anyone know what a stock gixxer 1k runs in the 1/8.it does between a 9.80-10.00 1/4 bested a 9.77 once.lost the tickets so and i cant remember what it ran in the 1/8.please help openion's are welcome.owe and i am racing for titles. owe god this sucks i think i just lost my bike.best case he loses intrest and backs out by this weekend.

Your bike will run 6.50's in the 1/8th with a decent rider. The 1/4 you would straight dominate him though

Ya you should actually run a 6.5 in the 1/8 and trap like 108-112mph just throw on some spray and call it a nite.

First of all... Have you ran the bike in the 1/4 before or are those magazine times posted?

Running a stock (no straps or anything) Gix1K into the 9s is difficult to say the least...

Do you think that your dad will be interested in selling his new bike? Ask him how much $$$ he wants for it.

If he runs ".98-1.00" 60fts and only runs 6.20 @ 118 either he has a piece of junk or you are confused.
