Default Talladega Track Ride

Just thought I'd let you all know about the Talladega Track Ride Vouchers for this fall. If you've seen my pics from Talladega earlier this year, they're doing it again this fall.

http://bhamfbody.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=1190

There'll be 3 dates set for the track rides (June 30, July 28 or Aug. 25). Here's the email I got from the track this morning.

Anyone that purchases a ticket before May 31 will receive a track ride voucher for one of three dates this fall.
So the deadline is May 31st. Buy a Talladega ticket for the fall race before May 31st and get a track ride voucher. It would be cool to pack the line with 100+ Fbodies in a row in line.

Here's a link, but the date is different from what they emailed me this morning, but it's only a few days different. I'd suggest calling to buy the tickets and confirming the track ride voucher.

I kinda agree with you there. I've been 3 times and imo watching Talladega on tv is better, but I'm planning to go anyways. It's been a few years since I've gone to a race there.

I'd love to do that if they would let me string the "Z" out to about 150+!

I did it in Feb. They use the safety trucks in front and behind the groups to pace you.
They run around 80, but you can lay back a little bit and get a run going.

Went to the Talladega race a few weeks ago. The best part was at night in the camp ground. It was like spring break!

We took my cheap dig camera and recorded it lap by lap, but the sound was terrible so I didn't post it up. We plan on getting a better camera this time.

I did the same thing, I posted a segment on my Fquick page going 110mph through turns 1 and 2. I want to get a hard disk drive camcorder for the next go around.
