Default 440 LS7 Vengeance Racing Vs DynoLab ;)

Seems since we have opened everyone thinks our dyno reads high....Well today I thought I would test out that theory... We recently completed a 440 LS7 with TrickFlow 235cc Cylinder Heads/Fast intake yadda yadda yadda... The car has made a best of 609/551 on our dyno with 15 minute cool downs between runs... With our customers permission I drove over to DynoLab in Marietta today to see the difference in dynos. Most of you know of DynoLab and know their dyno is known to be dead accurate if not a lil low compared to alot of others out there.... Long story short, I drove this customers Z06 from Cumming to Marietta (over an hour with traffic) and strapped it down. With about 5 minutes to cool off (while the car was being strapped down) it pulled 618/526... I didnt bother with a 15 minute cool down like we do here as it would have only added another 5 to 10rwhp.......

Looks like about 9rwhp HIGHER @ DynoLab with no cooldown and over an hour drive... We did lose about 20 ft lbs, but I attribute that to the hot *** engine and no cool down. Torque usually jumps up quite a bit with a lil cooldown....

All in all, I am extremely happy to know our dyno is right on par with one of the most reliable dynos in the Atlanta area... Another notable difference I would like to mention is our dyno uses WinPep 7 with the latest updates and Dynolab is still using WinPep 6.03 to work with their data aquisition center.

Here are the graphs from both shops..

The dip on the graph at DynoLab is due to me shutting down the car @ 6500 and Art operating the push button for sampling... As you can tell our timing was not in sinc

You can definatly say that Dynolab is definatly a dyno that get's used on a daily basis. So this must mean that your combo's make even more power than you post up.Oh ****,let the hater's talk now!!
Congrat's on a awesome setup with awesome power!

That's about what I thought would've been the results Ron!! They all differ a bit anyway. I'll get mine up to Vengeance one Thurs. so you can compare my results from there if you want. I had mine re-dynoed at Dynolab after you guys did the new tranny (after breaking it in). Gains (in sig) were significant with the Yank in there and a new tranny. I'm local to Marietta as you know so it was a bit closer for me. I think both facilities have a good dyno. Numbers always vary from dyno to dyno and anyone who thinks they will get the exact same readings from them will be dissappointed...unless it read higher...lol!!

Well who'da thunk it? Based on all the interweb rhetoric which is known to be deadly accurate, I was certain VRD was about 25-35 high
