any of you guys interested in starting a all f body racing club. because it seems to me here in louisiana the one club they have is only interested in going to carshows. i can not stand it its long and boring sitting at car shows and worrying about if you car is going to get dirty from the rain. i wanna start having meets at no problem and state capital. like i said racing only. let me know what yall think.

There are a bunch of us up here at Red River Raceway that have had two get togethers and plan another this fall. Our St. Patricks Day Bash we had about 40 LS1's some ran heads up, some bracket raced, and some watched and showed off their cars. Not as many at our last race but still around 20+. Would really like to see a north/south La. shootout. Get something going down there and maybe we can start a little drag race that could be alot of fun.

Caddo that sounds like a good idea. Alternate tracks each time. This would be a good way to get more F-Bodies in one place. By the way we're selling my wife's mustang and building her a drag truck. She's chompin at the bit.

Well I know that cainsw,blue98z,navyblueSS and myself have raced at Red River in the past. I'm in, it will take a little planning for us to work around everyones work & family life. Would ya'll want to plan a race down south and one up north? Maybe we could also include a race in monroe? We'll need to get someone from their areas to work with local track to set up each race. I have the Red River Raceway guys listed above that will get things organized here.

I'll race in Shreveport, Funroe or BR as long as I have a few weeks to plan for it and it isn't the weekends of Sept 14-18 and Nov.1-5. Going to Grand Isle on fishing trips on those weekends. And the LSX Memphis weekend Oct 11-14

Chris I believe you would race anywhere between heaven and hell. We surely don't have to leave Louisianna to get a little of both. I'll be on the Trail Of Tears bike ride starting the third weekend in Sept. for a week and LSX Memphis Oct 11-14. Anyone in Monroe and BR interested in helping set up race day in your area ( RRR group runs the 1/4 mile, don't care much for 1/8 ).
