na thanks they arent that strong lol. before the stall i wasnt beat by a manual c6 very bad at all and after the stall i better not get beat at all so why would i trade but really man u should come to arkansas ther are a ton of people here that would love to race you i cant pull into a freakin parking lot without someone asking to race me. i got my *** kicked by a low 12 second srt8 300 c that thing was wicked but when i get my 3600 in ill be racing him agen.

perhaps you're having reading problems? i said FASTEST STOCK TIMES, not average stock times or EVERYONE on LS1tech runs 12.3 stock... slow down partner the mustang is taking you around sooooo faassssttt you can't read it quick enough

im an ls1 freak but i have never seen one run better than a 12.9 stock 12.3 seems a little to freakish to be true if u ask me imo

even 12.9 is a good time for stock....the fastest stock LS1 ive even heard of is a 13.3...but then again i havent been in the car scene very long so im kinda new

lol na man alot of ls1 run better than that stock then agen alot only run mid to high 13s stock i have seen alot of stock auto ls1s that couldnt get better than 14 flat no matter how hard they tried mine ran a 13.2 stock

A stock C5 Z06 is pretty much a 11 sec car. My C5 with vararam is mid 12s it ran 12.7 with ziptie mod and of course took off the run flats. Plenty of LS1s are 12 sec cars stock. Most of the C5s are all 12sec cars stock. And all of the M6s are with proper drivers.

i duno lol i have seen some terds for ls1s but mainly it autos i know a kid who had a auto ta ls1 and i beet him by to many cars tocount lol it was slow

well looks like you and vette boy need to step it up a bit and do a search, it has been talked about in the oast and it has been pulled off. again you read it wrong and used what i said wrongly AGAIN. i did not say most stock LS1s i said that it has been done before... please, don't repost the same damn thing again because you're not understanding what i'm saying, i have been doing this "car scene" a good while so trust me on this. a good driver can put a M6 into the 12s all day if conditions are right, a better driver can put it in the lows (not done often by any means)... my STOCK A4 ran a mid 13 when i got it...do some research..
don't misunderstand me i like how you stick to you're guns but get facts straight

Well, I just got home from racing sleeperstang tonight. My car is a completely stock '99 Z28 m6 with SS hood and spoiler that were on it when I got it and almost completely bald tires. Now I don't claim to be a great driver or anything, but I decided to give it a shot and run him.
We ran from a 20 mph roll twice. On the first race I beat him by I believe about a 1/2 car to 1 car length. On the second run he got me by about a bumper, maybe half a fender. After the races were over, we headed back to where everyone was parked and talked for a minute. He said on the first run he left his cruise control and traction control on....and on the second run I missed third gear. I think one of his friends got the races on video. I know one of my friends got the first race on tape, but I have no clue how to get the video on here. Hopefully his friend will get his video up here soon.
By the way, I never got to ask you sleeperstang, why exactly did you have cruise control on?? If you want to run again sometime, I'm game.

well sleeper quit racing stock cars and get in with the big boys now... wish i lived by you because i'm by no means a BIG BOY but i think low 12s high 11s is pretty good. then you know what to start modding for, nice races btw

Well, now you got to run a stock Camaro. If that is a drivers race then a stock LS1 vette is going to pull 2 or 3 cars on you easy.

Just because it says corvette on it does not make it faster !! JESUS why does everyone think this? I NEVER lost a race to a stock vette in a Stock T/A. NEVER!! SEVERAL times My old man had many diff ones and we would change cars and the outcome was the same. Not to mention the hundreds of others I raced.

The only real diff. is the driver. PERIOD!
