Okay I'm not reading 32 pages of this crap. A friend on my local board said you wanted to race a close to stock LS1. We can find you a race...

If I lived in El Paso still, I'd drive up to you. I went 13.1@107.99mph with my automatic 2000 T/A with a cutout on my old yokohama es100's in San Antonio at SAR. Might I add I had a bog because of my battery hold down was busted. I went on Drag radials and ran the same time. If I owned a scanner I would post the slips for you. I dyno'd 301.23hp with my cutout opened and 297 with it closed. Got my dyno sheets around here somewhere.
So if you ran a 13.6 spinning and possibly a 13.3ish time, we'd be close. Let me run drag radials, since I have 2.73's still vs your 3.90's and it would be fun. Oh well....hope you get a good race.
Also if you look up the times for stock LS1 cars, most are 13.4 second cars or around there. All you put into that car of yours is get to where the stock LS1 F-cars are. Not bad but I mean..not great. New Technology vs old push rod bigger inch motor. Sounds fun.

hey bud hate to break it to you but the new model mustangs are turds. They are a complete disgrace to the mustang name. I don't see how you can compare a modded car vs a stock car but if you want to then we can. Mine and a few others on this site bone stock have reached the 12's M6. 12.7 here. I don't think those grocery getters can do that stock. So I'm still trying to get all this straight in my head. Seems a bit confusing like a Honda calling out a vette....plain stupid. People on here have said that they can find someone to set a race up for you and you also did a challenge. Well here i am and not far away at all. My car is always out and seems like you are the 39th type so i figure we could meet out there or even 12th st. I'm a true bolt on car and a M6 also. Even having some car issues but i can promise you that you will not be anywhere near me except behind me. And if you feel like i might be hiding something then i will gladly let you look things over.

How do you know what he knows? I bet he knows more about your car than you do. And how are you going to guess how much he has in his car? I know him and his car. You said you want to race a stock or bolt-on car, now we have guys from here offering you that and you act mad. For the record, he is not cocky. On the contrary, he's a good, down to earth guy. Check yourself. You are the one claiming you can take any stock/bolt-on LS1. You are mistaken.

Are you serious? The fact that you can hang with a stock GTO doesn't impress anyone on here. I'm willing to bet the people you are racing can't drive. And what does our cars value have to do with it being a better or worse car? Is it our fault that Ford built a dog of a car cheaply? No. And you seem to be under the assumption that the SS is a faster camaro or somthing. An SS is a body and suspension package. No performance difference than a Z28 or any Trans Am. You can get a base Z28 or TA and it'll run the same as the SS or WS6, which is still faster than your car if that person can drive.

All I'm saying is, it depends on the driver. If your car is capable of low 13's thats fine, and yes it will take many stock LS1's. BUT, with a good driver a stock LS1 will run high 12's. I'm not doubting your car will hang, I'm pointing out that your logic is flawed. I did it a little rudely, so I apologize. Sending you a PM.

ok, "a stock LS1 is not gunna out run me its a fact" and "you will outrun me" WTF does that mean? i honestly think you are some 16 year old punk, who doesn't know jack **** about you're car other then the mods you put on it. 25K car out the door (that dad baught you) you mean?... another reason for the 16 year old **** is because you can't spell to save you're life.. gunna, il, isnt, almost all of you're post miss punctuations,or are not spelled right. you have no clue what the hells going on anymore do you? you go from saying you can beat any stock LS1, then jump to any bolt-on LS1, to i'll outrun you but then again, you will outrun me? wtf is it man? i'm bolt ons and i would laugh at you if you tried racing me anywhere, especially at a track where you made a call out. as per rattle box, i'm not quite sure i have any more rattles then the ones that came from factory. only rattles i can honestly think of are all the pony parts banging around that i managed to suck through my intake.

This is a funny thread.. have 65,000 miles and she is running strong. No offense to anyone on here, but a 6.0 GTO is not faster than a WS6 or SS or Z, when both drivers are equal, you catch my drift. Like any older muscle cars, the LS1 F-bods are old now and have been beaten on like dogs because of their "facotry performance". Out of the box a stock LS1 is a potent engine. I got my factory window sticker and it cost the previous owner $26,439 all options except for the WS6(all I can think of anyway). My car went 13.1 with only a cutout with the "305hp" offered in 2000, 1999 and 1998.
your car does not weight as much as a GTO, don't think you said that, the GTO is a pig.

Sorry I copied and pasted and it didn't work out for me. I spaced the stuff we all care about.
that was a GTO 2005 vs an 05 GT slight difference's from their 06 variant. The GTO weights in at 200+ lbs more. The 4.6 is small in cubis inches but the motor is euro style with over head cam(s)it is also HUGE. The 5.4 is a DOG in pure form, I know my best friend has one and every mag hates on it with it's puny 300hp, but like any other motor in the FREE world. add a power adder and there you have it.
