What did ALL of SLP's '96 SS prototypes look like?
I've heard stories of SLP having prototypes for the SS program, but I don't think they have ever really been spelled out exactly.
What all were they?
One that I know was 100% positively a test car was a '93 Pace Car replica. If I remember right, it was painted solid black, but retained the funky Pace Car interior.
One that I "heard" a rumor about, was a '95 Medium Quasar Blue Z28 converted to SS trim by SLP. I don't know much more than that.
Were there any others? I know someone from SLP posts here, so maybe he can give some official answers! Maybe provide some pics!

We started working on the SS project in May of '94. There were a dozen or so mules that we used, but when they had to go out to the various proving grounds for testing, the Chevrolet front end was swapped out with Pontiac Fenders and a Firehawk hood.
I know I've got a few photo's somewhere, If I can some I'll post them.

Terry "Zeke" Maxwell STILL has '96 SS #002, which in fact was the first "production" one actually built...
Used to test-fit "production" features as well as "upgrades" (and used as a "media car"), it's an A4 solid roof Red one. Currently about 50,000 miles, with the original engine (under 20,000 miles, stored) and a currently-installed LT1-based 383... On DR's/headers/converter, has run in the 11's...
Used sparingly as his Summer driver, and resides in the Winter beside his Serial Number C001 '97 SS LT4 (4,000 miles), which was the FIRST LT4 built...
Who'd like a piece of EITHER of these?!
