I wouldn't alter a real Firehawk. A formula or non ws6 Ta sure.

If you plan on keeping the car sure do whatever you like best. As for resale though, I wouldn't modify it in any way. That's just me though!

Do it if you like the headlights. But I think there is better ways to spend $1000 than those headlights.

I plan on keeping the car until i die. I also plan on keeping the original headlight. Im just not a fan of the flip up headlights especially being that I gotta change the damn gear already.

I've been kicking it around and just wanted to get other peoples opinion. Im kinda on the fence now about getting them but ever pic I see of themmakes me say no. I was hoping I could find atleast a pewter colored car with them but so far no luck. I used to worry about altering it so i didnt hurt the value but in the end all it is, is a trans am with firehawk stickers on it. SLP did a shitty job painting hood, spoiler, and my damn wheels were doing the flacking ****. The flacking **** got me to the point of not caring because the car has 5k on it. The last 5 years of its life has been parked in a warm garage. So my damn wheels should have never done what they did.

i like em; not many people have them and its something different. i would only do it on a black car though. but even though i like em, $1000+ is the hugest rip off.

Don't do it. Too distracting from the flow of the car.

I vote no

Changing the headlight motor gear is easy....just make sure you replace the plastic gear with a brass one and your good.

its your car do what you want. i get **** all the time for ruining my hawk, but im pretty sure its mine so i dont care.BUT i dont think those look very good, just my opinion. If you like it do it, they may look better tinted or painted to somehow match the paint? Not sure if the lights would pass through that but that may be the only way that would look good. just my .02

You should post up some pics of how they look at night. I think that might give people a better idea.
