Default Need Pics Of Firehawks

Can any Firehawk owners do me favor and take some closeup shots of the front of the hood and front bumber cover? Especially from the side.

I'm trying to figure out how much of the bumper cover SLP trimmed off and the angles. So far I haven't had much luck finding pics.

Thank you.

PS, if you can't post them, then just send them to me here:

Thanks again.

All right! Thanks.

Can you tell what areas are cut? From the top it looks like a smooth arc from one side to the other, but when I try and copy that onto the stock bumper cover the angles don't match up. Do you think they cut the outer edges by the headlight covers?

I tried to do a composite of the 2 best hood pics I have.

Something doesn't seem right, but I can't put my finger on it.

I did this picture a while ago, but it obviously isn't right. I cut too much off the tip of the nose. From the composite I will need to extend the hood all the way to the tip of the Raptor hood.

I think this may be pretty accurate of the cutting needed.

looks like SLP trimmed the cover in the vally area of the snorkels on each side in.

What are you trying to do install a Hawk hood an a TA?

I think they trimmed a little right behind the center part that has the tab mount as well. That little badge kind of covers a part I need to see. My dealership did have a rare Formula Firehawk that didn't come with the badge and it seemed like a little was trimmed off there, but I can't remember for sure. The folks who bought it came back and had a badge installed as well as a TA hatch. It was kind of weird looking after that.

No, that would be too easy.

It seems I'm a glutton for punishment so I got a Raptor hood (which I prefer because the scoops are taller) and I'm going to extend the hood to mimic the Firehawk. I figured that would be easier than getting the Firehawk and raising the scoop heights.

I have a bigger thread here:

The pic where you blacked out the stock section that was cut is accurate, the center piece is barely trimmed.

Yea, I'm waiting for a firehawk to roll through my dealer ship so I can make a quick paper template. I think that should be pretty accurate.
