Even if I had the money I doubt I'd get either. Nice cars, just not worth it IMO.

The ZL1 is weird. The car was not built by GM. I've never seen ZL1 behind the windows like that. And the script under the spoiler is different. Sold in Illinois and now in CA with 160 miles on the odometer. Must have been trailered. I'll see Matt M this week and see what he knows about that car.

This car is the real deal. The original owner sold it on e-bay three months ago to the gentlemen in Calf. Looks like he isn't waiting to long to try and turn a profit ! Yes it is a trailer queen. About all I ever saw T.J. do was to drive it on and off the trailer......heck he even trailered it from the hotel to the CAMARO

$75K and the reserve not met? Interesting. I've been thinking about reverting my ZL1 to it's original 400hp, A/C, GM rear end, etc. Now that Vengeance racing is 5 miles from my house I think I'll have Ron & Mike do it and save all the running gear and either sell the pieces and/or put the C5R engine in my 02 Z06.

If a base ZL1 will bring $75k it would make it a worthwhile deal. Might even be worthwhile to massage that ZO6 just a little before reinstalling it!

[QUOTE=fenix9for that i buy a new EHUMMMM Zo6, [/QUOTE]

Hard to argue with that..as evidenced by for sale ads swelling with 4th gens who's former owners have gone that route.And now they have 100k warranties on that Z06 so that will further depress and flood the fbod market.

Reality bites sometimes!

Some car enthusiast would take issue with the "just a Camaro" argument. Just a few would be fans of the Yenko, early SS and Z28s and of the the original ZL1 which didn't bring much of a premium for more than 20+ years!

Z06s are great cars but be prepared to see yourself coming and going. The only GMMG car I've seen on the road is mine and I doubt I'll ever see another or a Dick Harrell either unless it's at an F-bob get together.

Unless somebody has a better idea I'm taking my GMMG ZL1 back to original and taking the standing offer. Might put the 427 in the Dick Harrell before Mike and Ron install the GMMG LS6 engine. Save a little labor.

And off-topic, but I really need to come by your museum thing you've got. I drool every time I go to "your garage". Not too far from my house. Well, that is definitely not too far away to come check out those beauties!
