how stupid is that, lets buy a car and not use it........ sell it and let someone enjoy it, not look at it 24/7

If your father purchased this vehicle thinking it will be worth a boat load of money in 15 years.. He will be wrong. When the 2009 Camaro comes out the of his car will drop like a rock for a while. If he still has it in 50 years he may make some coin on it.

If you said 1.01K miles on it, I'd see the justification for not driving it. But how is insurance keeping you from driving it? Is your dad Evil Kenivel?

I also agree that one of the original 100 LT-4's SS-Camaro's would be a sweet ride, but this is not one of them. All LT-4's were hardtops, no t-tops like this one has.

Pretty safe bet that the value has already dropped to the low scale with over 100K miles on it. I'd just continue to enjoy the car, let someone else worry about restoring it in 20 years. Restored cars are often worth as much as or more than unrestored ones. That car isn't *that* rare, largely in part of the LS1 coming out and making the LT1 cars seem pretty slow and undesirable

I'd swap an LSX under the hood and pimp it

Agreed.

Look at this one, this guy is selling it for less than 18k and it has 20,000 miles on the body and 100 miles on newly re-built engine, yours has over 100k miles, what is the value of yours?!

thats stupid my 97 WS6 Formy is just as rare 1 of 473 and it is just about to have a nice stout motor put back in so that i can drive the hell out of it and enjoy it.

These cars are not LS6 Chevelles or Hemi Cudas
