That's cheap. I'll have to go to BJ's site and check that car out. If it's a good one the new owner can upgrade it virtually free. Speed $5K or 10 and make 15 or 20.

Thanks Mike for your comments ! ! !
I agree with you, the GMMG cars are certainly misunderstood. Everyone thinks they know everything there is to know about them, particularly the folks that don't own one. You certainly have pointed out that even "us" , the owners of these cars, really know very little about them.

OK, I'll admit it. I'm bored as Hell. Gotta be bored to re-read an old thread......but, I have discovered something. Also, women can change their minds so I can too.
Think about it. Nine Ball is a highly respected expert on matters of this sort (having to do with late model GM cars). And Xsta Z 28 is no lightweight! Consider too that New, 02 and I are biased. Very biased. And everybody knows that bias is wrong. Right?
Considering the above I am going to do the right thing. I will help a fellow man. I will be righteous.
GMMG cars are over-valued. I'm going with Nine Ball's $50k figure on the ZL1.
Therefore; Xsta Z 28 I hereby make the following, binding offer for YOUR blue Berger SS (I saw your pictures and your garage is too crowded too!)......no, my first offer would seem like a despicable low-ball offer...so here it is......$3,250.00
Please let me know ASAP as I have other offers to make!
BTW - does Matt update his records? For instance, my ZL1 went from a Phase I to a Phase III+ (supercharged you know) and now it's a Phase II R__X. Come to think of it I think he does because he makes the new ID stuff when you upgrade.

GRB, you are my hero/idol!!! By the sounds of it, you know your stuff, and you've got one sweet garage with your Phase II R_X. Eveybody else who owns these cars- you guys/gals truely are lucky to have a great piece of History and you shouldnt care what someone else says to you about your cars. Most people who know even the slightest bit about these cars would die to have one..... can I be added to the list who wants to buy one but has no money?

No not really . . . multiply that by at least 10 . . . then double it . . and then we can start negotiating!
Thanks for the generous offer.

I'm glad Matt posted the video on his website. He told me a couple of days ago on the telephone that he was going to do it. This video was mailed out to alot of us GMMG owners on DVD 6 months or so ago from Matt.
In the video when it shows the magazine article on "'02 ZL-1 Camaros", the black one pictured is mine ! ! ! That picture was taken in the parking lot of my business ! ! The magazine was the April 2004 issue of Chevy Rumble.

That base ZL1 was about $54,00 new, I just felt $80,000 was a bit high . . . Did I say other wise?
So why insult me?

Who TF are you to tell someone what they bought is worth you ignorant POS.......'<----kind of like that. I didn't say that.
It would have also been a bit insulting to point out that 'sence' is spelled 'sense'. I didn't do that either! <---see, that generally means their is no animosity attached.

Andy..............I honestly didn't see any insult there in Ray's post either. The way that I read it was............he was just poking a little fun at ya. If this forum...............hobby................ever becomes that serious where we can't have any fun............then it is time to get out.
Lighten up alittle. Everyone has their own opinion. You are certainly entitled to yours..............and the rest of us are entitled to ours.
