Just to thank all of our wonderful members and sponsors of this site, we have come up with a way to help pay some lucky individuals back! The rules are simple:
1. All registered members are eligible, except Administrators. Yes, staff members and sponsors are eligible too.
2. For the month of January, we would like to hear your "automotive" related New Year's Resolutions. What vehicle(s) do you want to buy or sell, and what are your performance goals, etc... Each registered member must post ONE reply in this thread. Members attempting to enter more than once by posting more than one reply in this thread will be disqualified
3. Winner will be randomly drawn from all the replies in this thread for this month. Winning number is randomly generated using a mathematical software program.
4. All entries can be submitted up thru the last day of the month. Winner will be drawn on first day of the following month. Winner's member name will be posted here at the end of the contest, and they must respond via email within 10 calendar days or we will redraw a new winner.
Winner will receive:
Registered Member of 3 months or longer = $100.00 gift certificate to LS1TECH Sponsor of winner's choice.
-OR-
Registered Member of less than 3 months = $50.00 gift certificate to LS1TECH Sponsor of winner's choice.
Okay, the rules are simple, no further discussion about them required! Start giving us some feedback and possibly earn some mod-money!

I'd like to see what an 11 second car of my own would feel like, sell my 87 TPI Formula, sell the 84 Firebird, reach over 200,000 miles on my Jimmy before it breaks again (194,000 as of now), find a higher paying job, and maybe find my own garage.
Wow, and I can think of more too!

My resolutions would be quite simple if I only had the cash. I'd like to be mid-low 12s with the only addition to my mods being some DRs and some real tuning. I'd like to hit 11s if I can afford some go go gas by the end of the year, but I fear some bigger wheels are in store before that.
Before any of this is done, I need to upgrade my brakes, and will do so in a month.

My goal for 2004 is to have LT's, manifold, DRs and tune done. If all goes well i should be near the high 12's. I would love to buy a nice truck so i can drive it all the time and not worry about my camaro or a beater.
I also try but i cant seem to slow down and smell the flowers. I seem to be miserable half the time and should be more appreciative of what i have.
Thanks to the troops that keep my candy *** safe in the beautiful U S of A. Its by far the best country in the world and i think some times people are too critical of it.

This year's goals for my car: Break into the 12's with my current mods, then replace the entirely stock exhaust with LT headers, cats, and a Magnaflow cat-back, SFC, Nitto DRs, pulley, and maybe a ported TB. The list could get longer if Uncle Sam decides to give me a bigger income tax refund than I'm expecting or if I win this gift certificate!
