Default PaceSetter Long Tube Headers Back in Stock!

I wanted to let everyone know that we have PaceSetter headers back in stock. We received 63 sets of coated headers yesterday, and we received 22 sets of uncoated headers a week before. They are anxiously awaiting new homes! We installed a set of the uncoated PaceSetters with their 3" off-road y-pipe on a '98 SS A4 today, and it picked up 31 RWHP and 24 RWTQ! I think some of the gain was from removing the stock cats that had 94,000 miles on them.

Feel free to give us a call if you have any questions or would like to get a set on order!

We're certainly pushing for the pricing to stay where it's at, but we have not gotten a final answer just yet. That's part of the reason we ordered 85 sets before the end of 2003. That way we could at least offer the headers to quite a few customers at the cheaper price.

As soon as we have a final answer from PaceSetter, we will definitely pass it on to all of you.

Called your shop and talked to Brian... looks like the headers I ordered back in November (had to send them back because I got the wrong ones, so been waiting on a new set) will finally be getting out to me. I've been waiting for awhile for you guys to get a new shipment from Pacesetter! Glad to see they're finally in...

I hope people take advantage of you guys having a shipment in stock... it's a great deal at the 2003 prices!

YOU guys have any ideas on how to keep this thing from smacking the floorboard every time you get on it??

I need to get under the car and see if the header is hitting the kmember or the ORY is hitting the floorboard, or both.

It's setting off SES lights i think. blap blap blap

there is a definate diff in the hitting, the ypipe is more of a bang and the kmember hit is a really nasty rattle, vibration. kmember just grind it down and ypipe u can bend it

yah lol. Out of desperation i put it up on rhino ramps and stuck an old valve spring on the ORY. Now it only (assuming its the kmember) knocks on WOT. took away about 80% of the noise. aye, shoulda got some hookers oh well. Pay for the man to fix the problems from the poor design = price difference in just getting hookers. you live you learn. I guess it sucks that pacesetter doesn't really care. You get what you pay for. moral of the story.

yeah i'm not very technically inclined so i'll let the mechanic deal with it. Some folks are better than others in that area. Plus my damn dremel just died so another $50 to get a decent one that wont torch itself. lol.

What side did you grind? or both? Maybe they should include instructions on where you need to grind. lol.
