Default Specials on TTP Forged Budget Shortblocks

Looking for a beefed up bottom end, but don't want to pay premium price? Well, that's where we come in. We have sold numerous motor combinations ranging from forged stock cubes to 427ci. The problem with building a bottom end is that the components get very costly, and most of the time you will never utilize the power that you could put down. The budget line of shortblocks are great for someone in need of a rebuild, wants to run custom pistons for hi/low c/r, needs something stronger for nitrous/boost applicatons, or just wants a strong bottom end for their h/c combo.

TTP Stage 1 Magnum Shortblock

- TTP Custom Polished/Nitrated 3.622" Crankshaft
- SCAT 4340 6.100" H-Beam Rods
- Diamond Forged Flat Top Piston (-2cc Valve Reliefs - Stock C/R)
- Federal Mogul Rod Bearings
- Federal Mogul Main Bearings
- Lunati Custom File-Fit Rings

- ARP Main Stud Kit

Included is also honing the block to 3.905" bore, cleaning, balancing, and assembly.

$2699.95 + Block/Crank Core Exchange ($700 refundable deposit returned once we receive your block and stock crankshaft)

We could also have custom hi-compression or low-comp. pistons made to order (Additional charge apply)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

TTP Stage 2 Magnum Shortblock

- TTP Custom Polished/Nitrated 3.622" Crankshaft
- Lunati Pro-Mod 6.125" Connecting Rods
- Lunati Custom Forged Pistons (8.5:1, 10.6:1, or 12.5:1 Compression Ratio - Figures based on stock 67cc ls1 heads)
- Federal Mogul Rod Bearings
- Federal Mogul Main Bearings
- Lunati File-Fit Rings

- ARP Main Stud Kit

Included is also honing the block to 3.903" bore, cleaning, balancing, and assembly.

$3199.95 + Block/Crank Core Exchange ($700 refundable deposit returned once we receive your block and stock crankshaft)

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

All TTP Budget 347ci Shortblocks will have a 1 year/12,000 mile warranty on defective parts and labor.

Give me a call direct at 516-779-2330, we can discuss applications and pricing.

Thanks,
Matt Sorian

Sure Scoobie.. For a big bore application I would recommend against using the Stage I components. I would suggest Stage II or III components.

We could do a Stage II 387CI All Bore Aluminum Block:

- Darton MID Wet Sleeves
- TTP Custom Polished/Nitrated 3.622" Crankshaft
- Lunati Pro-Mod 6.125" Connecting Rods
- Lunati Custom Forged Pistons (8.5:1, 10.6:1, or 12.5:1 Compression Ratio - Figures based on stock 67cc ls1 heads)
- Federal Mogul Rod Bearings
- Federal Mogul Main Bearings
- Lunati File-Fit Rings

- ARP Main Stud Kit

Includes machine work - sleeve installation, finish hone, align hone -- 4.125" Bore

$5899.95 + Block/Crank Core Exchange ($800 refundable deposit returned once we receive your block and stock crankshaft)

* Upgrade to Stage III which includes the upgraded Lunati Pro-Billet Connecting Rods for $450.

Matt, so a 387 ci, all bore Stage III would be $6349? And about how much nitrous would you estimate one of these to hold reliably, with what additional components?

Looking for a post-afghanistan deployment project, need around 450rwhp off bottle, and be able to swallow 300 or so progessive nitrous HP shots.

Thanks,

Charlie

I would say you'll have no problem with a 300-500 shot.. The Stage III is the top of the line Lunati components, I believe offhand the pro billet rods are good for 1100hp.

Of course we do! We have numerous customers from down in your area that have come up to us. Basically we could even work something out if you needed to drop off and pickup on a weekend so it doesn't interfere with the work week.

Give me a call 516-779-2330 or shoot me a PM with what you are looking for. We can always do better when buying parts + labor. We do have full custom LS1 Edit Dyno Tuning capability.

What would the cubes come to if you did the big bore plus a 4" Crank?
Also would this beable to handle a big shot as well?

Can you PM me on what your charge would be to do a motor for from a 387 up to a 427. I currently have a heads/cam package on the car w/a TH400 behind it and want to be in the solid 10s this year w/9s on the nitrous (DP set up). Also, I'll leave the car with you so you can do the build up on my motor (only 14,000 miles on it), clean up the heads for larger valves, and dyno tune the car. Just let me know how your schedule looks and your prices. Thanks!
