Go to the 1st page of this thread. You'll find the screen names of everyone that got in the GP. If your exhaust has been shipped (or in this case, if UPS has been notified of a pickup - since it seems that having a tracking# usually means it's setting on the floor @ GMMG awaiting pickup - not that it is ACTUALLY in transit) there will be a tracking# after your screen name.
I'll save you the trouble of looking - you have no tracking# - join the club.

Thanks for the information. I saw that on the first page, but it didn't look like it was being updated. I guess it is being updated, but progress is just painfully slow.
Thanks again......

Let's see I sent my money in the 12th....14 days ago, and i ordered my tips that I want from Mecham yesterday (the 27th). Mr. Mecham told me 4 business days. Who wants to bet on which one gets here first?

But by the looks of things - the exhausts for people that were stated as being 'in as of 7/12' (which I was - but I'm not listed until the 15th), weren't actually picked up until either 7/23 or 7/24 - 11 to 12 days later! and are just being delivered today, 7/28.
So if you are in the last group of people stated as being 'in as of 7/15' - you won't be seeing your exhaust until next week at the earliest.

Did anyone see that corsa is now doing a group purchase also? I figured that 829 for the good tips with 10% discount would be 740, almost the price of this one. At least you know they aren't screwing you over. Maybe everyone should read the print of shipping takes 1-2 weeks or whatever. I am really trying to be patient but I really want to hear it!

Well, he's either out of town again - or sick of hearing us all bitch
But ya gotta expect that when you're in business - I do agree about the updates - last time he edited the thread was 7/16
Really there is no 'fine print' in this thread stating that shipping would be 1-2weeks
BTW, I currently have a Borla with cutout, LT's, & ORY - it's way too raspy for my liking now that the engine was redone - sounds more like a cross between a Ferrari and a weedwacker. My buddy has a Corsa - it sounds worse. If you want that deep muscle car sound neither the Borla or the Corsa are for you.

The print I was talking about was on the corsa group purchase. When I listened to clips of corsa and then gmmg, there was no comparison. Does anyone else out there have clips of their after-installation exhaust sounds? It can keep us entertained while waiting!

I've heard in person (been a passenger) the GMMG on cars from a local dealer here (Tom Henry Chevrolet - dealer that offers modified cars like Berger, Yenko, etc.)
On the cars with only minor mods such as airlid, etc. the exhaust is fairly quiet at idle (pretty much like stock but a slightly deeper tone) - but sounds excellent at WOT.
On a car with H/C, LT's, ORY it is much louder at idle (but it is a deep rumble like us old folks are used to on the factory muscle of the 60's/70's) & undescribably beautiful at WOT.
I've not heard one on a car that is modded somewhere in the middle.
Some of my Borla rasp is probably due to running the cutout wide open all the time - I'm going to try the GMMG without a cutout 1st and if it's not loud enough (my TA is mostly a show car - not daily driver) then I'll add in a cutout and find that 'sweet spot'

I recieved my exhaust on wednesday
and it was well worth the wait. The oval tips are great quality and look awesome. Then to my surprise on Thursday I recieved another exhaust I was like
you got to be kiding while some of you guys are waiting for your exhaust I get two of them that is funny. Well I talked to Ron and apperently my first exhaust got lost so they ended up sending another one and thats how I ended up with two exhaust systems. Anyhow UPS will be picking up the exhaust soon to deliver it back to GMMG. Thanks Ron for all your help. Be patient guys the exhaust is well worth the wait. Can't wait to get it installed.
