We have numerous SPEC Stage 3i Iron Clutch Kits. These kits are rated for 850fwtq. It is an iron sintered disc (Like the stage 5), but maintains spring dampeners so is easiliy slippable in traffic. Yes just mention the special all prices will be adjusted and no tax out of NJ state. It comes with the pressure plate, clutch disc (iron sintered pucks), pilot bearing, clutch alignment tool, throwout bearing...

Does the iron disk make any noise over the ceramic??

It doesn't make any excess noise.. Chatter will be evident in cold weather until the disc warms up.

Does Spec still make the 3I? I was thinking I heard that they discontinued it. What was the price before the special? How much are more are the 3I's than the stage 3 x-pad? Is drivability the same on both of these--I read your above post about cold chatter, but I would like some more comments as far as rush hour traffic, etc. Thanks!

01SLP: Yes sale is still on. I'll be in the office all day today shouldnt have a problem getting through..

Yes the 3i is the newest addition to the SPEC lineup. Drivability is the same except the iron does tend to chatter a bit more than the x-pad. Both are easily slippable.
