Have you guys been able to make any dyno pulls or track passes with these heads? I know a few people have ordered them, but I haven't seen any of the above posted.

YYZ28 a member here and owner of torquecentral.com made 393rwhp and 385 rwtq with stage 1 heads and a LPE GT2-3 cam(207/220 .573/.580 117.5LSA) through a 3500 stall. runs the 1/8 in 7.46@93mph

PongoX11 made 531rwhp and 477rwtq with Stage 2 6.0L heads a 224/227 cam and 8psi of boost, stock bottom end. not sure about times at the track

JRP will have some independent results soon

If you decide to give us the oppourtunity to work with you I guarantee you won't be anything but pleased with the results

Brad,

How much are your Stage 2 5.7L heads? Which would you recommend for my setup?

which LSX intake do you have? if you have the 78mm intake and plan to stay with the GM hot cam I would probably recommend the Stage 1 heads just to help maintain velocity for low end torque.

The stage 2 heads we can do for $1395.00 plus shipping(no core, includes GM bolts and gaskets) during the Oct. sale. Stage 2 heads will give you room to go bigger on the cam later on down the line.
on a set of stage 2 5.7L heads the intake volume is approx 228cc and exhaust is approx 85cc and we use 2.055/1.60 size valves

Thanks for the info Brad. Yes, I have the 78mm LSX. With a stock motor, I couldn't see getting the bigger one, and I have no plans right now to go to a stroker motor. Whether I stay with the Hot Cam, I can't say. I can see wanting to go bigger later after I get into the road racing. Tho I do LOVE it's idle!!!

So I guess that means I should consider stage 2s for future growth potential. I can always put in a stall to keep the rpms up. Nice pics by JRP....great craftsmanship!!!

What are the flow #'s on the Stage 2 heads & do you have any dyno results on them? I'm very interested in a set of these.

I am also interested in the stage 2 flow numbers and results.

JRP, I thought you already had ported heads, why are you switching?
