Matt,
I want more info on your Stage 2 heads. What is your warranty? I assume they've been ported & polished to achieve 300 flow. Are they milled to get the 10.7:1 comp? I have a GM Hot Cam with 1.8 Harland Sharp rockers, along with Manley springs & pushrods & a RollMaster dbl chain. And I have PPC headers & an LSX intake. Would these work well with my setup? I drag race & want to run some open road races too.

Sure would. You'd basically be buying the AFR 205cc heads from us, however if you sent us your intake, we could port match it to the AFR's and achieve more flow. The Hotcam is has some decent torque so the heads would be a good match. I don't know if you'd achieve maximum HP with that cam, but the torque should definitely rise. You'll also see at least another 5+ hp/tq from port matching to your intake. I assume you have the 78mm LSX.
You'd be looking at:
AFR 205cc Heads $2182 free ship
Port Match Intake to Heads $250.

Um, I was actually inquiring about the regular LS1 Stage 2 heads that are on your website on special now for $1395. I know the AFR heads are the bomb. I wish I could afford them, but I have to buy a roll cage too. So, can you tell me how those would do? (besides being not as good as these, but compare them for me if you'd like)
Thanks Matt, and sorry for the confusion.

We do not sell our cam without installation, so I cannot offer you the cam. Everything would be about $3050 without the cam and tuning. Then add in the options if you want.

Champ: The castings are the exact same except the 225's has a different style intake port (Obviously 'larger').
riddler: Honestly I'd call Lou @ LG and get the cam straight from him.

Thanks Matt. How much more power(hp) will the 225's give over 205's. What is $ diff over the 4,600 and change for the 205 package deal you are currently offering? I am looking to get on or above 500rwhp. Matt please call me at 203- 218-1800 at your convenience I would like to discuss options and prices to get me up to the 500+ rwhp with my current mods plus heads and cam. Thanks John

Champ: Ditch the cats... Pickup the LSX 90mm, Meziere Water Pump, possibly add a cutout and we will be as close as possible to 500.
I'll give you a call tomorrow running out of the office now to take care of something.

Price Match Slomaro
Matt did you see the deal slomaro in Houston is offering for an AFR 205 head and cam package? He has it listed at $3750. That sounds too good to be true. Anyway you can come close to meeting or beating that price. If so schedule me in. I figured it couldn't hurt to ask. By the way any testing on the AFR 225's yet?
