They are not hard to install but they do require a special tool to remove and install the rings that secure the factory seat covers to the frame. With that being said, unless you have the tool, we recommend you get an upholstery shop to remove the seat covers, install the heating elements and reinstall the covers. Then you can do the wiring and switch installation yourself.

I'm guessing you guys are referring to the hog ring pliers? I saw one write-up on here that said they weren't even really needed, the seat covers were velcroed on or something. I know I've seen the pliers on year one's site before, but I'm sure plenty of places sell them. It would be easier to pick everything up at the same place though. Anybody who does this, post up how it goes, I'm thinking about picking up a set of these when my tax return comes!
