Default TSP True Duals w/ Sweet Thunders Coming Soon!!!

Well alright guys, you asked for it, we WILL be offering the Texas Speed True Duals w/ Sweet Thunder Chambered Mufflers! It is going to take a few weeks to have the mufflers built and fitted for our system, but we are going to be offering these mufflers! Feel free to post up any questions or shoot us a PM! We have a run of about 15 of these systems getting put together, so feel free to IM us or call to put your name on a set

Thanks!

I e-mailed you guys about getting a sweet thunder or a spiral flow muffler in your regular rumbler, any word on if that is possible, I can guarantee that I will buy one, I had the rumbler you offer now on my LT1 and loved it, but I stupidly got rid of it when I got headers thinking it would be too loud.

Thanks
Chris

How loud are these? I am more of a sleeper guy, dont care if it gets a lil loud at WOT, but like to be a little discrete at idle/around town.

I'm not really sure how loud they are. I've only seen vidoes but I don't think they will be a sleeper setup. They seem to be a very popular muffler so we figured we'd give them a try!

Think at least as loud as regular bullets. Had them before, and they are definitely not what you want if you want a sleeper setup. WOT is more that a little loud, and at idle and cruising, it's still going to be pretty noticeable. The Spiralflows are better for a sleepier setup. I'm running one straight off the y-pipe for the moment, and it's still pretty quiet. TD's are difficult to pull off in a sleeper, but they are worth it.

I know your system is a 3" but ST only makes a 3" muffler with a 2.5 core. Are you guys going with a 2.5" core muffler or are they custom building one for you?

Would it be possible to order just the mufflers with hangers welded appropriately, if we already have tsp duals? And if so what kind of cost for them?

I gained about 1.5" of clearence over my bullets.

If Jason emails me back with a date, you guys at TSP can hear mine when I come in soon. ...Then we can both find out what they sound like with a torquer cam after its put in.

are you guys considering making these system to work with driveshaft loops or tunnel mount TA?? I would DEFINITELY consider one if they would work with my Lakewood loop (soon to be swapped with Spohn tunnel mount TA)

This sounds great, not only do I love the tone of the Sweet Thunders but I also like the ground clearance they offer. I'm guessing that they will be located pretty much in the same location that the bullet mufflers are that you currently offer?

A couple questions I can think of right now is.... Will the cost of this setup be the same as your current TD's? And what are the specs on the Sweet Thunders that you will be using? Such as the gauge, length and such. If I like what I see then I'll have you put my name on one of them

Have the sets arrived? What is the price compared to the standard 18" bullet setup?

When I talked to TSP about getting on the list they told me that it would be $419.99 just like the duals they have now. I still haven't heard anything about the progress...

anybody talk to them about these?
