Default Where to buy Kooks? (did a search)

Did a search and didnt come up with anything very recent. Checked some sponsors and the cheapest I found them was sdpc for about 820 but is there anywhere cheaper?

I bought qtps and i will never again, they made me wait for months and then the welds were not even finished. The collector was badly bent, and the butt weld on the one primary that has one, was not welded only tacked. When you put the flange on a machined surface, you could see through it in multiple spots if you looked sideways at it. Then the pass side hit the k member so bad i had to notch it deep. I called them and he offered to replace only one of them and said they changed the design, so it would not match the other one. So i opted to weld it myself and straighten the collector. For the flange i had to take it to a machine shop and have it milled down as they were grinded unevenly to fix the welding. The primarys i had to weld all the way around as they had like a quarter inch on top and just a tack on the bottom where they meet the flange. My driver side also hit and i had to do some grinding there as well. This is bad business in america. Next time its kooks all the way, ive seen them and they are top quality..

I went with SDPC as well. They usually have a good stock of Kooks so you don't have to wait weeks or even months. They also price matched on everything including the catted y, o2 extensions, and gaskets. I ordered on a Wednesday and the parts were at my house on that Friday.

Edit: I also got free shipping.

Thanks I will do that. I guess SPDC seems to be the cheapest so far. And that horror story^^^about the QTPs has just ruined me on them, i was actually pricing those today.

I bought my Kooks today from SDPC. My Price:

stainless LT's - race style for LS1 F-body: $779
3" ORYP: $229
Shipping: $35

They had it all in stock, and they take care of bidness, lol. SDPC is one of the best sponsors on this site, period.
