Bob,
If we have a spare set of backing plates to send in can Moser complete the rear and test it before it leaves? Thanks.

Bob,
I have a few questions for you. I am interested but need to know how long the special will run for. I have blown 2 10-bolt rears in my car already and am so frustrated with working on it seemingly every weekend. I want to get a 12 bolt but am concerned that when it arrives I will have to have axle bearings pressed on, backing plates welded on yada yada. I really just want it to arrive, remove from pallet and bolt in place of the tired broken POS. I read and read and read on 12-bolt info, it gets to be sooo much info and so many opinions and different options, get this spline, get this, you need that etc.it really just adds to the confusion. Car is TransAm 99 with Traction control and ABS, M6 had 3.73's in 10-bolt and am thinking of going to next size up, maybe 3.90's or 4.10's.
Any input would be great.
Thanks

The brake backing plates are unbolted from your 10 bolt rear, and rebolted to the 12 bolt. There is no welding involved. The bearings get pressed on, something most Napa's and garages can do in approx 10 minutes. The center section comes installed and the center cover is bolted on, all you have to do is slide the axles in once the backing plates are installed and the bearings pressed on. The supplied directions are easy to follow. Bob

Probably until I get tired of selling them for a very low profit... It is hard to say, but with the rising fuel prices, I can foresee rising manufacturing cost in just about everything... Bob

Does Moser press their own exciter rings on? Do we have to supply them our rings?

You either reuse your old rings or as a $75.00 option they can supply them installed. Bob

Bob,
What are the excitor rings. Is this something I will have to consider as well?
Thanks

Do you have traction control? You can always press off and reuse your old ones. Bob

Yes the sale is still going on, it is for as many rears as I can sell. Thanks for inquiring. Bob
