Default NEW!!! QTP LSX Engine Lift Plates Are Ready To Ship

Not everyone is lucky enough to have a lift in the garage. The QTP LSX Engine Lifting Plate will allow you to lift your engine up by its valley cover for easier maneuvering.

The first run of these are ready to ship. Supply is limited right now so get your order in early.

Click the link for more info and to order online or just give me a call to place you order on the phone. LSX ENGINE LIFT PLATE

Will this work for pulling an engine out of an f-body?

Wow, seems kinda scary to me to put the weight of an assembled LS1 on those bolts and the threads in the aluminum block.

I ordered one, as well as 16 TR6 spark plugs. Site was easy to use, paypal payment option is convenient too.

Thanks!

No more than that engine weighs, it will not be a problem. I install diesel engines in boats on a regular basis, that weigh atleast twice the wieght of these engines, using 2 lift rings held by a pair of bolts each.

I believe those threads are about 6mm? That makes them roughly 1/4".

Safe working load for a Grade 2 1/4" bolt is 160lbs (tensile). This means 960lbs easily supported, but this has lots of safety factor worked into it.

Actual breaking tensile is 2350lbs each. Anyone have a 14,100lb motor?

Very nice looking piece, best of luck with the new shop Paul!

Pretty sweet little vid you made there. That looked pretty painless. I will have to order one of these for pulling my engine. Actually, Southern Speed, you can expect my call tomorrow to order one of these. I hope you still have a few in stock.
