Default MTI 427 C.I. GIVEAWAY!!

Motorsport Technologies Celebrates 10th Anniversary with 427 Iron Block Giveaway!

In 2003, Motorsport Technologies is celebrating our 10th year of building some of the fastest street and track driven F-Bodies and C5 Corvettes in the world!

Thanks to your support, our organization has grown from a three bay warehouse to our current 12,000 square foot state of the art facility, with a fully-equipped machine shop, SuperFlow flow bench, chassis dynamometer, multiple service bays, and extensive product showroom.

It’s time to give something back to the people who continue to support us year after year.

To say “Thank You” to our current customers and encourage those of you who have haven’t experienced MTI’s unsurpassed level of quality and performance to try us out, I’m pleased to announce MTI’s 427 Iron Block Giveaway going on between now and the end of the year!

Here’s what we’re doing:

For every $250.00 you spend with MTI between July 1st and December 23rd, 2003, you’ll receive one entry ticket for our 427 Iron Block Giveaway! If you spend $500.00, you’ll get two tickets, $1,000 – 4 tickets and so on.

Any customers are eligible! If you order on-line or via phone, we’ll include your tickets in your shipment. If you come in and see myself or my sales team, we’ll give you what may be the winning ticket in person!

On January 5th, 2004, we’ll draw 3 winning numbers from among all the entries for the following prizes:

2nd Prize: One pair of Nitto Drag Radials in either 17” or 18” size - $400.00 Value!

1st Prize: A set of Long-Tube Ceramic Coated long-tube headers for your F-Body or C5 Corvette - $900.00 value!

Grand Prize: A complete MTI prepared and assembled 427 CI Iron Short Block which includes a GM 6.0L Iron Block, Callies 4.125 crank, Lunati Billet Steel Rods and Wiseco Forged Aluminum Pistons! – A $6800.00 value!

The winning numbers for each prize will be posted on various F-Body and Corvette forums as well as MTIs website on January 5, 2004. The winners will have 10 days to contact MTI to verify their prize and arrange shipping. If no one claims the prize after 10 days, we’ll redraw for that prize and post the new winning numbers.

As an added bonus, all of the winners will have their items shipped directly to their door from MTI(within the continental U.S.) – at no charge!

With an MTI prepared C5 Corvette winning the Car & Driver One Lap of America and several new and exciting products on the horizon, this is a great time for us and we are extremely happy to have the opportunity to give back to our valued customers.

I look forward to ten more years of serving your high performance needs and presenting the lucky winner with their 427 CI Iron Block! For more infomation and rules, visit www.motorsporttech.com

Sincerely,

Jayson Cohen

Great Idea! But hardly a "give-away" if you have to make a purchase to enter. More like a raffle.

Todd, its a way of rewarding customers of MTI. Its not really a "raffle" since you are still receiving parts for your purchase. Besides, $250 is easy to spend on performance parts, thats only equal to one half of a "hotrod dollar"

I'll be getting a few of these tickets between now and the end of the year no problem!

PS, one "hotrod dollar" = $500. lol

Wish I had some money to spend. Figures the Colonel would show now. You know how these things go, the person that needs it the least will win.

Someone like the Colonel, or other rich guy, with no need for it will get it.

All orders that will be shipped on or after July 1st and still have outstanding balances due, are qualified to receive tickets.

Therefor the timing of my payment today or tomorrow for my 387 is rather nice!

hehehehe... I like my timing. It wouldnt have worked if Fed-Ex hadnt screwed up shipping the ASP pully back to MTI

I may have a 387, but a 427 is cooler, and I'd love to add a k-member and stuff to lighten it bakc up again

Your odds are not bad. If you spent $4K, you would receive 16 tickets. We have printed 7K tickets total and if all of them move, it would give you a 1 in 438 chance. Your odds would be 1 in 250 if we give out 4K tickets.

How about go back 3-4 years, and pull 3 random reciepts from customers who bought stuff when you were in your three bay warehouse, since they are responsible for putting you in a "12,000 square foot state of the art facility, with a fully-equipped machine shop, SuperFlow flow bench, chassis dynamometer, multiple service bays, and extensive product showroom". Just a thought.

3.5 years and ~$15,000 in mods later

Seriously, though, nice gesture (even though I'm modded out..... wait a minute...what do you guys sell for trucks? )

At least this is a nice gesture. I have spend thousands myself to vendors posted on board and for some reason it appears they don't care whether you buy from them or not. Instead of keeping customer loyality and working with customer, they say the heck with you. After awhile, this can work both ways. Prices will come down some in the future and other vendors will be available wanting business and us other customers will be there. Cheers.

We have a winner lol
But on A side note, I went to MTI for the first time saturday (belive it or not) and is is a pretty bad *** shop. The show room throws you off of the shops full potential. In the show room its only bolt on parts, but thats nothing of what the shop is capable of. Its nice its clean and its kick ***. Also saw colonels car off in the distance inside the shop
