Re: Spec/Star Stage Clutch GP?? Please!!!
Ordered my SPEC III + Flywheel today from eastside. They stated that SPEC raised the pricing for their flywheel, therefore they had to raise prices. Was about $50 dollars higher than whats advertised on their website... ($550 or so) total...

Re: Spec/Star Stage Clutch GP?? Please!!!
The reason the flywheel is higher is because it is billet steel now. Also the clutch is different. Here is a copy and paste:
"SPEC is no longer offering their nodular flywheels anymore. They are going to a billet steel flywheel. The billet steel flywheel will out last the nodular iron flywheels.
Spec just introduced their new X-Pad Stage 3 and 4 disk. It is taking place of the ceramic or carbon option with the stage 3 or 4 clutch. The X-Pad is a hybrid of carbon and ceramic, giving you the holding power of the ceramic disk, with the streetability of the carbon. So here is the kick, they're shying away from the ceramic or carbon option. They said that they will be shipping ALL orders with the new X-Pad design now."
