Default stang gt vs new turbo cobolt

I followed these two to the main high speed road the mustang was an 02 vert with slp exhaust, cold air intake, 373's , brand new transmition, msd plugs and wires, and underdrive pulley, the cobolt was stock but putting out 20 psi, (not quite sure if stock is that high) regardless he had no real mods. they raced from 40- 120 they started out right next to each other and by the end the cobolt was ahead by about 1 or 1 and a half car lengths. the mustang was so pissed he had to turn right off and race me from 30 - 80 where i beat him by 3 or 4 car lengths, just wasnt his night i guess.

HP tuner and BSR Tuners for the Cobalt SS and HHR SS turboed runs at 20PSI. Stock is 15 PSI. Some people are putting down 247WHP stock and about 260 - 280+ whp with just a tune.

this dont seem right to me.The junkstang has a bigger motor then the cobolt ss..He must have missed a shift or something or not mknow how to bump his gears right.i got a buddy witha 94 gt mustang gt with a stock motor but it has a carberator and it has headers and it has gears in the transmission and it smokes cobolts all day long..so i dont see this happening.just saying

It is not all about size.
Think of the 454's of the 60's and 70's.................
I cant wait to pull up next to an older stang.
I was sitting next to a mid 90 Cobra the other day and he would not go.
Had he been stock, he woulda got a nice surprise (what are they like 245?)

Research is your friend ! So are car mags and ahhh TV ! J/K !

I drove a new turbo'd SS(4dr) and I must say I was impressed ! Would've gave my STi a good run for its money when it was stock ! Plus this thing handles like no other, even beating the new and old Evo and a bunch of v8 & Awd cars on a road coarse. All for about $25k !

I do believe the 94' GT's were rated at 215hp @ the crank and the new Cobalt is @260 hp! The 5.0 had a huge aftermarket though ! They were still 15 sec cars stock !

They were supercharged from 05-07. 08+ are turbo.
