I almost lost to a Sentra SE R! I just got back from racing a Sentra around town. Its an older bodystyle and it says V8 KILLER on the side. So of course Im going to go talk to the guy and see if he would run it and he agreed. Here's a link to the races, and holy crap this thing is fast. He has a
SR20 motor with a 60 trim turbo pushing 18 psi and forged internals. He seemed to be a pretty cool guy. The last race he gave it all he had, he even pulled the ebrake while it was rolling to build boost. It needed coolant after the last race but this thing definitly gave me a run for my money, Im a bolt on 2002 SS that runs 12's!

Nice kill, I just don't see the point to trying to make a car like that fast. All that money and work to swap the engine and built it up, and its still not going to beat a V8 with bolt ons. And then after running it hard it needs coolant, probably a blown head gasket from pushing all that boost on that shitty motor.
After racing you he should be turning that license plate back into the DMV. Stupid ricers.

Whoa guy easy, to each his own. That car will suprise alot of stang and f-body guys. Also term ricer dosent fit this guy, i didnot see a huge wing and a fart can from pep boys. And V8 killer is not ricy I got a boy with a low 11 dumdumdumdum with v8 killer on it and he dose kill v8s most of the time. Reminds me of a time back when I almost lost to a Sunfire GT in my Buick GN (miss that car). It had lightly rained shortly before and he was revving at a light. I couldn't get traction to save my life. Every time boost came in, I would spin and start drifting sideways. I was pedaling real bad, was finally able to keep 1/2 throttle around 60 from spinning. Obviously I flew past him...

probably because he always gets raped by them... a fast car is a fast car... whether its an import or domestic. I give respect where it is needed to be given! Oh and since that is an SE-R sentra then it came stock with an sr20.

lol i agree that it is a piece! he has all that work done and a turbo with 18 fricking psi and he cant beat a bolt on ls1? imagine if the ls1 had the same stuff done, though that car wasnt riced out he shouldnt put v8 killer on it until he can at least run a damn 12

That sentra is fast but common V8 killer??? It was only a bolt on LS1 for him to hold that title i would expect him runnin with H/C/I LS1. I give em both props he's not a ricer but puttin that V8 killer sh^t is like me puttin GT killer . Thats being over-confident .

I disagree with that. The sr20 without boost would have no chance!!! Come on with boost/built engine he got beat by the OP . I'll give it to the se-r they were close runs but my point is the LS1 doesn't need boost to go fast. My buddy had one of those se-r he ran a lil slower than my other buds civic si.
