99 SS vs. 01 Z28 me and my buddy went out last night lookin for some cars to mess with, came up with only eachother 
, so we get on I 85 and go from 60 in 3rd, 1st time I got the jump and had him by about 3 car lengths till we shut down at 120 or so, the 2nd time he got the jump, but when i hit 4th, i reeled him in and put a car length on him before we shut down again. He said his car started to shut off around the upper rpms of 5th, anyone know why, he said he's had it to 130, but i thought they had governors on them..anyways, i beat him, twice

Re: 99 SS vs. 01 Z28 It's great going down with a buddy looking for imports. Me and my friend Tom in his Mustang used to cruise down route 287 every night looking for imports to pick on. They never ran us. I guess a Mustang 4.6 GT on your left, and a blown Camaro LT1 on your right can be quite intimidating if you've got half the number of cylinder

, man i bought the car to have fun in, not tell others how nice theres were, i never back down, i don't care if its a McClaren F1, imma run his ***..lol..happy racing...just be safe

Re: 99 SS vs. 01 Z28 that's a good attitude to have. that's how i am. I'll run any car for fun, when they start talkin about money I get nervous though. I'll never run somebody for money unless I know exactly what they have ni it. And usually that doesn't happen. I'm not too much of a gambler.
