driving to work this morning i notice head lights in my rear view that looked like grand am lights but it had lower fogs so im thinkin hmmm this might be a gto. well i get over in the slow lane and sure enough this 05+ gto pulls next to me, so im thinkin sweet its been forever since i ran anyone. but right when i was about to throw him a rev and down shift to 3rd he down shifts and takes off.....wow that thing was loud. i was about a split secind behind him but i grabbed 3rd pretty quick. he pulled a car on me rite off the bat but i stopped his pull almost instantly. i then started pulling his car back in and thats when he let off. he acted like he wanted to play some more but he would never wait for my honks he would always pull next to me and then take off. if we went at the same time i would not dought i would get the win.

Link to the proof? I'm not denying it, I'm just curious. That's a damn strong running GT with just a CAI and exhaust mods. 317 rwhp is pretty good, but new GTs are heavy. So 111mph seems just a little to high for me to accept without being a little skeptical.

Nice run. I would have thought gears were needed for your trap speed. That spells trouble for G8 GTs and SRT-8s. Damn, it's getting tough out there.

The S197 GTs are only about 75lbs heavier than their New Edge counterparts. With 317rwhp I have no doubts at all. Good kill OP
