I was just suggesting that a little vacation (not a banning) might do those like 99 Z28 a little good...
This only aplies to constant BS posters (repeat offenders if you will
), or those who constantly claim things without any sort of proof or reference. Mostly claiming things to bash anything not GM and then failing to support it and usually getting owned as a result...
But it gets really bothersome after a while...JMO
I'm going to stop thread jacking and ranting now.
I actually forgot about the original kill story, good kill OP.

You poked fun about dyno queens, and showed 600RWHP cobras pulling mid-high 11s.
I proved you wrong with the SAME power. Are you now going to argue that it doesn't matter that the power is the same, it's made differently?
you posted BS, I posted FACTS......PROVABLE facts. you are wrong, I'm right. It's really that simple.
My Cobra went 11.29 with a pulley, CAI, a catback, and nittos.
My LS1 went 11.59 with essentially the same power and 60' as the Cobra.
It's irrelevant what you've heard, what you've seen on the internet, etc.
Real world experience with 100's of LS1's and 100's of Cobras that I have
personally been involved with paint the true picture. The short story is
that you have very little experience with fast cars...or none at all. Your 12
second car doesn't make you an expert. It just makes you look foolish
when you shoot your mouth off.
This is a tech site first and foremost. Post facts, not your childish opinions.

BTW, Dynotune, I've got some plans for the Z that should happen over the next couple months. I don't think they're gonna put me in front of you, but it might be worth it to finally line em up to see if I can stay next to you this summer (unless you've got more done than when you trapped the 124).

Man I'm mad now. 9 pages and this is it? LOL I guess I shouldn 't be so nosey. LOL, anyway I would like to sum it up like this, unless you are talking STOCK vs STOCK there are too many varibles, too many people lying about their set up and everything else that can come up to say who would win during races.
I keep hearing the "IF" word all the time. If everbody is telling the truth a 500hp Cobra should beat a 400hp LS1. But you all know as well as I do that people cheat, reduce weight and claim the car is stock, claim the car has 400hp when it has 500hp so if the guy claim he beats pullied cobra's **** it, he beats pullied cobras. It MAY be a trick to it.
As for 99z, If some one in his area has a pullied cobra run him and post the results. Hell he may be Ronnie Socks or somebody (lol). He may be able to extract every oz of horse power out of his LS1. Mine may have been a factory freak because bone stock I ran 112mph and turned a 13.009. Ok sorry for the rant. I can't wait til spring so I have to release some tension somewhere. LOL

I think the reason so many Cobras lose is that the ratio of quality to shitty drivers isn't so good. Maybe they don't think they need to downshift to win, or who knows what, but Cobras lose to a lot of cars on here that they 'shouldn't'.

I figure if you are talking bolt ons ( not head and cam packages) you are not going to get more than 375-380rhp out of the LS1. I could be off but I bet by not too much. So while we are at it can you disclose what that mods are on your car and the Weight of your car?

Nope...no 9's. I'm out of fuel still, but I have all the fuel system mods. I
just need to install them then throw a tune in the car. I'm running 23psi
on stock pumps right now. We'll see how she runs this year with
some slicks and a healthy shot of sauce once I get the fuel system done.
Here's a setup for you...23psi on a 2.2L KB, 110 race gas, 22* of timing,
stock fuel pumps, 55lb injectors, stock feed line, BAP, etc.
Now you see why I can't make anymore power until I upgrade the fuel system!
