Kidcamaro- Trust me I know all about the MS3 I have raced against it...and done numerous research on it becuase I want to put it in my girls car.
The cars must run alot different down here then cause I see it pretty often. Just go to the 11 sec. section, there many cars in there doing it. I am not trying to say all will do it but there are many that do. The point I was trying to make was that the OP car should trap pretty high being his car is an M6 and he is running a pretty decent sized cam.

Check out the fastest "Cam-Only" List. There's an MS3 car on there in the 10's at 121. There's your proof!

^ The guy just said its " not the norm" and you pull out one car thats on the "fastest cam only" list?

The race is going to vary very much. Hell the driver's alone make a huge difference. CAN cam only beat pullied cobras on the street? Sure. Its the street. Are VERY FEW cam only cars faster? Yes. VERY FEW. The whole Cam vs pullied is a toss up but its definitly in favor of the cobra. Especially since people never seem to make them dig.

Yes that is Jagermeisters car it made around 400rwhp and trapped 116ish I think I dont know thats a very old vid. Those were 40 rolls which is PERFECT 1st gear for a cammed LS-1 and a soft 2nd gear spot for the Cobra. Trust me I can search for vids all day and most of the Cobras get walked. lol. Its all in the driver and setup. You can compare that vid to mine The Vette that I race in the vid went faster made the same power and wieghs 300-400 pound less..........

And to whoever posted above about go look at the 10 sec or 11 sec list. I could say go over on SVT and look at there 10 sec. list there is people running full weight pullied only in the 10's at 124ish, and they have vids of it.. But I wouldnt say that because thats not the usual Cobra you run into.
I know people have done it I am just saying its not of the Norm. especially not full weight on 17's Dr's driving around on the street with the T-tops out. I belive that they go in the 11's trust me I do. And before people think I am hating on LS-1's I am not at all read my sig I drive a beautiful NBM SS M-6 everyday. I love that car. It will be cammed someday.

i agree cobras have the edge but i think a full bolt on decent sized cammed m6 ls1 is a drivers race vs a pullied cobra

He had posted a couple times it was a new, uncalibrated Mustang Dyno.

Yet another Cobra/LSx thread that reaches 4 pages.....

What does full weight have to do with anything? From what i've read RedFire04 was simply giving one example of an 11-second MS3 car. I didn't hear anyone say anything about full weight, or did I just miss something...

Its certainly not the norm for a full bolt on/cammed LS1 to beat a bolt on/pullied Cobra, but I've seen it happen a few times. The majority of the time I would think the Cobra would walk away though.

because I don't see a cam only ls1 trapping close to 120. he stated there was a list of them. I pointed out not one of them was full weight which is what we were discussing.
