Default My first kill! Lame but whatever

So I get the Cutlass running good tonight, first time I have been able to make WOT pulls. For you guys that don't know the Olds, here's the cliffnotes: 71 Cutlass, LQ4/80E, Magnacharger Radix @5psi, .569/.579" 224/230* 114+4, 9.5" 2700 stall, HP Tuners by me, 3.73 posi rear. Check the link in my sig for more details

So I live in a taco town, no ifs, ands, or buts about it. (Thank you USAF) I'm cruising with my buddy, making some logs with HPT, checking out my PE AFR's when we spot a primered 80's Monte on 13" daytons with cowboy pipes and the front 2' higher than the rear. Buddy says get up there, he'll run anybody, so I pull up and all of a sudden the cowboy pipes roar to life! (or rattle to life I should say) So I go about 25% TPS to keep up and catch him at a red light. Light turns, he goes, I tail him about a fender so I don't blow the tires off right away, at about 20mph I drop the hammer and put it sideways, I pedal at about 45ish and run it through the top of 2rd, to about 90ish mph. Look in the mirror, its like a jet trail of tire smoke, and through the smoke here comes the Monte, nose proudly pointed at the sky! He rattles on past and gives me props out the window.

So while you guys got cool stories of beating Cobras, Z06's, Ferrari's, Lambo's, I got my Lowrider first kill story.

Seriously though, after 2.5 years of building the car it was nice to get out and lay a smack down, fair fight or not.

Yes, In the near future I am adding a booster pump and 79#'s so I can run E-85. Shortly there after I want to add roller rockers, 90mm TB and a 2.75" pulley. 550 rwhp will probably be all for this shortblock. Ultimatly I would like to do a low comp forged 370 and a MP122HH blower upgrade, The goal being about 15psi.

The common guess right now is about 440rwhp on this tune at 4,400'.

The Cutlass is a sweet car, and you seem to have a pretty nice setup.

Heres a quick 45-95mph run while tuning today, AFR's are a bit rich @ 10.6 but it still pumped out 50mph in 7.5 seconds.
