Got a question for all you guys......
I've talked to a couple guys on here about this but I thought I would open up a thread to ask for ya'lls opinion......
I don't know how much or if any experience you guys may have have with riding a motorcycle but it has got to be one of the most rewarding experiences I've ever had. I have been feeling like I wasn't gonna ride anymore after my CBR was stolen. It just stopped being fun for me, too much work and just uncomfortable anymore. Well, I was down at the local bike dealership (Yamaha, KTM, Victory) and was looking that the R6 and R1 just out of curiosity. I'd never own one because of the lack of torque and because they are very uncomfortable for me to sit on; but then I started looking at their cruisers.
I think I'm in love with riding again........ I was just looking at a base model V Star 650 but the ****** was so comfortable and easy to maneuver just sitting still it was crazy. Then I was looking at the Victory bikes and really liked their top of the line 106ci 6spd Vegas Jackpot. The bike was very light for the size and was easy to move around. I'm supposed to be back up there to sign the papers for the Victory on Tuesday or Wednesday and that will be about it for the car dealing besides maybe getting a truck in the future.
also got an offer I couldn't pass up on the Z06, so she's leaving the stable as well
The Fox is gone as well, guy bought it for a TTLSX project. So, all I have now is the PJ302 I got a couple weeks ago and I'm not even sure how long that will be here since a local car collector wants it in a bad way (#464 out of 500) and said he would trade me straight across with some cash from him for his 2100 mile GT500.
I'm thinking about getting out of the car scene for a good while. Its just getting ridiculous....spent way too much money on this hobby anyway. Need a break from all this bullshit and drama.
What are your thoughts? Be honest.

I ride dirtbikes as much as I can, thought many times about buying a street bike but I dont trust myself on an R6 or something similar. Hell even riding dirtbikes is awesome. I would say buy one and enjoy it. Cant speak from first hand experience but ive heard victorys are pretty nice bikes.

I wasn't gonna get the 650, but the 106ci Victory instead. The V-rod is too big and heavy of a bike to ride from day to day IMO

For me, a guy who never owns a vehicle for fewer than 3 years, I think you're ******* nuts. My cousin is just like you, but on a smaller scale. he's not driving Z06s or anything, but he never gets attached to any of his vehicles and swaps them within a couple months without thinking twice. I think you should grab the GT500 and mod it (we need a GT500 rep in here.. they always get **** on and no one defends them).

I've always wondered.. aren't you taking a hit on a lot of these vehicles? Like buying the Z06 brand new and getting rid of it a couple weeks later with a few thousand miles on it?
As far as bikes go... If I were in Texas I'd probably still have mine. PA winters aren't very fun for bike riding.

I've thought about getting rid of my Trans Am and just sticking to a light mod TBSS.. and then I go drive the TA and it reminds me of why I still have it. if you're anything like me.. you'll at least keep one decently fast ride.

I think you should consider getting down to one good car, maybe that's the GT500 for you.
If you limit your toys down to one, then you might drive it far more often and enjoy and appreciate it much more than your previous rides...
As for the motorcycles, I've never really been into any of them so I don't have an opinion other than I wouldn't bother buying one.
