What's the CID of the Boss?

Noride, sorry no one let you know but Ford motors aren't fast unless they have a turbo or supercharger. This has been covered and preached thousands of times by GM owners. This memo was sent out shortly after the "God's hands touched the LS1" memo.
He had NAWZ man.. That would make a turd run fast.....

....oh wait......

it did.

302 but not sure what it would be with the 4.6 rotating assembly. (I think it makes it 5.3) I know most people just go to the 5.4L block but that takes the fun out of it!

Stopsign, what happened with the 41x stroker you were talking about earlier?

Depends on a ton of stuff and I'm not nearly as knowledgable on 4v DOHC N/A stuff as some. But I'd guess a big bore 302 with oversized valves and ported 03 casting 4v heads, the intake above (if you can even get it) or a short runner ported Mach 1 intake, custom cams, and around 11.5:1 compression would be a solid mid to low 10 second car N/A with a manual or a 9 second car N/A with an automatic.

I'm a pushrod guy. I'm just showing him some stuff out there for a mod motor. But now that you mention it I might just skip the step I was telling you and go straight to a 424cid. I'd like 600rwhp N/A but will probably have to settle for 560-580 and then hit it with the juice.

Yes with an intake. I've never seen than manifold before and was wondering what kind of times guys were running with that. And maybe in the process find out what kind of combo's guys r running with it as well, that's all no harm.

That intake is off a road race car and I'm not even sure if you can get ahold of one now. It might not even be a good intake for the drag strip. No one has tested one because of the $$$ they cost and rarity.

LOL Scott, if I had the money for a new black Z06 I would be driving that. Since I don't I'll keep going fast in the Mach. Soon to go alot faster.

You had asked what my buddy trapped at with his 10.3 NA 416 Formula (129). Ok, I like that car too. Just hate pulling the motor to change a plug.

It looks serious, that's why I was curious. 9's N/A w/ a modular motor is no joke!

So....then you'd be happy to settle for about 80-85% of what a similar sized LSX makes?

Funny, i've never seen a 4v intake like that before. It reminds me of the TF Box 'R'...sort of.
