High dollar kill
My wife and I were on our way home from work this morning, heading south on I25. Passed a gorgeous, new (still temp tags) 911 Turbo Carrera. After traffic cleared, I saw him coming up fast behind. He paced, goosed it and dropped back alongside. I tapped the horn and we left on the third, from about 70. Awesome race, but by 130 I had him by about 1.5-2 lengths. We lifted, thumbs up all around, and he left at the next exit.
I wonder if he's upset about the performance of his $144,000 toy.

Way to go man!! good kill!! Like PSM said, no shame to lose in a Porsche whatever what you run into, especially a nice T/A like yours!
By the way resonoxg, no need to go 10s to beat a porsche, I beat one 2years ago(480hp) and I'm not in the 10s, not even in the 11s(street tires/stock gear and diff)...theyre fast on the quarter because they can put the power down with AWD compare to a normal street tired RWD car.

I don't really think he was upset, but it's kind of difficult to tell that the TA is modded when you're doing 70. It's not like the blower sticks up out of the hood like the old roots blowers did.
I love the 911. My wife and I rented one while to tour England. Shifting left handed took some getting used to, but they're amazing cars. My wife says I have a gift for finding races. We landed at Heathrow, I spent 20 minutes driving around the parking lot figuring out the left-handed shifting, and then headed north on the M1 towards Peterborough. Ten minutes on the M and I was racing a guy in a Lotus Elise.
