Awesome video. I have to race an M5 soon, and I was wondering what my standing would be versus it. Now I have something to gauge it with.

Thanks

Looked close, but I think you pulled him and barely stayed ahead by the end. It looked like he almost came back in one gear, but you pulled back.

Nice kill.

Good death.... not sure what everyone else was looking at but on the top end the bimmer was starting a very slow pull. Close races to be sure...

Uh...
Just in case you're not joking,

The 09 CTS-V has the LSA, the supercharged motor you're thinking of (550hp)

The 04-05 CTS-V has the LS6 (NA motor from the C5Z) and the 06-07 has the LS2 (NA motor from the base C6)

It's cool. The LS9 (C6 ZR1) and LSA (only cts-V) are very similar and are the first American LSX motors to come supercharged from the factory. Holden, in Australia offered some LS2 Monaros with supercharges though, I think...

nice races... the e39m5 just keeps on pulling up top where it out revs us. but they tend to be nearly the same from a roll.

ehhh i dunno about calling it death... 3 of the races I had him till 5th gear which is over 140mph..

I wish we had room to keep going to realy find out what would happen ...

With a tune and short shifter ill be all set.

I think you would have pulled atleast a car on him if your gears were longer with no rev limiter! Get that tune bro!!!
