94 z28 vs 92 mustang gt
I just got my 94 camaro on the road last week it pretty much all stock it has moroso cai, flowmaster muffer (doubt it did anything for power on there when i got it) maf screens removed and 3.23 gears (a4). My buddie has 92 mustang gt 5 speed bbk shorties, orh, mac catback, march power and amp pullies, and moroso cai. Who would win? would there be different results from a roll compared to a stop. i figured he should beat my but do i have a chance from a certain race. It would be nice to shut him up alls i hear is 5.0 this 5.0 that camaros suck blah blah

It'll be a good race.
@Violent celerity: I don't know if you've been to speedworld lately but I've been running 14.5s with just a MAC exhaust in my car and smog delete also eletric fan. Besides that the car is stock and full weight. So that fox should be hittin 13s.

DJ, i only saw you run a 15.2 and i know for a fact you need more than full exhaust on a fox body to run in the 13's, especially this weather. I used to have an 86 gt 5 speed and the best i could run was a 14.8 with a catback and a few other bs mods.

O.P. You've got this one in the bag!
Exactly.

Then it wasn't running correctly. I have time slips to prove this only exhaust 14.5.

Um...mid/ow 14s in AZ with just full exhaust? Maybe DA corrected, but in AZ?

Bone stock notchs at ENGLISHTOWN in NEGATIVE DA run high 13s with pro drivers. I seriously doubt this dudes 92 gt(300 lbs heavier) with basically no mods will run 13s. A bone stock a4 lt1 should do bottom 14s no problem.

Some of you must be off your damn rockers. My friends old '92 GT ran 14.4s with nothing but an H-pipe and flows. I'm talking about a 180,000, fully loaded mile stick shift with a peg legging limited slip and horrid 60s.
The fellow in question has 13s in it so long as it's running right and he can drive. Not saying he'll win, but 5.0s aren't that turdy.

You should do fine, just have some fun and be careful. Next time, post the " What if " races in the Bench Racing Section.
