I'm not sure what mods this thing had but he was pretty fast. It was me at 195lbs and my boy who's 190lbs and the other car had 2 passengers also. It started out with me pulling out of the gas station as most races do start! lol

As Im turning right out of the gas station I see the RSX-S pulling onto the road as well and I see him kind of goose it a lil. So as he gets about 1 car behind I goose it alil in 2nd to make sure he can hear me but he didn't do anything so I shifted to 3rd(well out of my powerband) at 40mph and got up to about 53mph in a 45mph area. All of a sudden I see/hear the RSX-S come flying up so i looked down to see what speed I was at so I could slam her into 2nd and make quik work of this. 59mph!!! FU-K!!!! I was out of my powerband at the bottom of 3rd but to high in the speed for 2nd since second tops out at 60-62mph!!! So I just slammed the go fast pedal and stopped his pull for about 5-10 seconds and then started a slow walk past him putting 4 or 5 cars on him before I decided to all out put busses on him(I think he slowed down but I didn't)! All in all I was very happy with the kill since I was out of my powerband and still won. The RSX-S was very clean. It had that electric blue color that I see them all with. My buddy said he heard blow-off valves but I didn't remember since I was dealing with being out of my powerband. I would have loved to get another run with him from about 45mph but after that they didn't want to play!! Guys were cool and even gave me thumbs up but wouldn't line up again.

I kind of like those cars and if it did have a turbo that would be sick. The fact that it did keep up a little makes me think that it had a turbo. Good kill and those guys in the other forum are haters for sure

damn kids and their rsx's....i only know one cool guy with a rsx-s. We raced one time when i had my truck and he destroyed me. Pretty sure i'd put a length on him now.

this one kid has a base rsx that rides around and swears its so fast...until my buddy in his 96 saturn sc2 5 speed beat him...his excuse? "I had my phone in one hand and a cigarette in the other...I couldn't shift right"

For sure this time.. I got her fixed about a month ago and havent really been gettin on her all that much! I went ***** out when I first got her but I gotta get that racing urge outta my head since I'll be drivin the kidos around a lot more... By the way the thread is getting even better now! I've had enough of the **** they are givin me and started really digging in on them!

ha very true. i raced my friends toyota corolla "s" <--lol (hes not a gearhead by any means, just wanted to toy with me, he knows its slow) from 5th on a highway pull and lets just say he wants something quicker now lol

65mph roll and Im in 3rd. we go and I hold him for about 5 or 6 seconds before he starts to walk away from me... Then I told him that his ride was for sure strong and that Im not used to getting pulled like that in my sweet spot. He then told me to bad he didnt put it in 3rd too

ya im not going to lie, the 2006 rsx type s is a very nice car. any of them below 2006 are pigs. The interior is simply amazing. Its 0-60 is 6.1 seconds. With a turbo it would of smoked ya from a roll, depedning on boost psi.

But i do hate how they think they are the fastest things in the world.

They got on my case for racing one of them and when I told them that he looked fast and thats why I raced him and to never judge a book by its cover they just called me more names and proved my point that they had NO idea what they were talkin about other then callin a domestic car guy a ricer..
