Another SVT goes down
Of this is not a cobra i had to have a catchy title. Any way to the story, i am coming back from college after my last final when i see this black focus with some rice pull up rite next to me. he revs at me and punches it when it turns green and i drive normallyand see the svt logo. seconds later when i catch up he rolls his windows down and says" I smoked you fool!!!" i try my best not 2 laugh out loud and i say yes, yes you did. he rolls his window back up. at hte next light we both stop and he revs again. I decide to teach him a lesson and when the light turns green i punch it and leave the focus buslengths behind. i slow down to the speed limit and when he catches up and rolls down his windows i say "I smoked you fool!!" and drive off. I love making fun of other cars.

Speaking of making fun of cars, I think someone stole your springs and replaced them with a lift kit.
It's funny how some people have no clue at all. I saw the Precision Turbo Focus run a mid 14 at Norwalk.

why laugh at 220hp? that's more hp than some years of the 5.0 and the first years of the 4.6L. it's more than the chevy 305. it's not that far off from 80s 5.7L corvette engines. yall have been spoiled by the horsepower wars of the past 10 years or so... 220hp in a 2700lb car really ain't bad at all, and i'd be interested to see how much more you can get out of it once you remove intake and exhaust restrictions, and add more boost.
hey unit, how well ford does do with forced induction engines? exactly.
a fast car is a fast car, stop hating by brand.

:Mr.T voice: "I smoked you fool" haha what a flamer, hmmm. skarecrow, are you talking about the L98 from the vettes, if you are it made 230 HP so your saying thats almost the same as the SVT focus, but look at the L98s torque numbers, 345 Ft. Lbs. of torque, does the SVT focus have that, In no way am I flaming you scarecrow but im just stating my opinion. I dont want to start another flame war. O and the C4(80s-early 90s) didnt weigh much more than 2700 Lbs.

no i'm not talking about the svt focus, i think it has more like 175hp n/a. i was talking about a hypothetical turbo focus that someone else mentioned that ford was thinking of building.
1988 vette weighed 3229lbs... that's a fair bit more than 2700. (1991 vette weighed 3300...)
