Default 98 SS beats 911 GT3

just got my car retuned this week and got my first kill with it. driving 3 hours up to see a bunch of friends and hang out for a few days. almost there and got off the interstate onto a local road and catch up to a white porche gt3 that looked sick.
Late at night so I couldn't see into it but it almost looked like there was some sort of cage in it. not positive on that though. I start following him untill we get past traffic and there is nobody ahead of us. he gets in the right lane and slows to about 50, i pull up next to him, roll down the window and give him the 3-2-1 hand signal. blip the throttle, make sure he goes and nail it in 3rd, pulled the rest of third and half of 4th to 120ish, was paying alot more attention to the road than the speedo. when i let off i was maybe 3-4 cars ahead, again hard to judge in the dark, he pulled back up gave a thumbs up and resumed normal driving. That race made my entire week. I meant my liscence plate to mess with the million or so mustang gt's in my area, guess it slays porsche's too.

Impressive the GT3 even hung as close as it did to your beast! 700+rwhp versus ... well, ANY porsche?

415hp / 300ft lbs @ 3000 lbs (with redline at 8400) is still a lot to argue with, and if it's a new one then 435 hp

that and they have much better aero than we could ever dream of making

SR-71 SS- Small world our schools car club meet at sonic last night and there was a GT3 there and i heard about him racing a camaro last night so it must have been his. It did have a roll cage, and yellow light covers its a pretty sweet car. What did you have done to your car to have 700+ hp and tq?

He gutted the cats and installed cutouts: You wouldn't believe how much that uncorks those LT1's! Or it could be his D1 supercharger and intercooler... lol

Great kill! Those GT3's are no joke (I got yanked by one a while back when I was bolt-ons), but obviously he stodd no chance against this car without serious mods!
