So you are saying since I offered a dyno number showing one making 390+ that you still can't believe one can make 400? Are you really saying that the 6 or so HP is the deal breaker, and it's not able to get more?

390+ plus is more than enough to take a stock LS1. Hell 320 would be enough. The 400 HP claim was what I said could be possible with these heads.

AS far as the other videos you posted of LS1 cars, no one is saying they can't make power easier than 2V mustangs. I SURE HOPE they can. The cars themselves are more expensive, and have bigger engines. So why you posted random pics of cars beating Mustangs is beyond me. If the argument was "2v can make HP faster and easier than a LS1" than your rant would have a point. But no one is saying this. It's coming off as being insecurely defensive. And you have no reason to be.

LSx engines > 4.6 Modulars. There is no arguing that.

That doesn't mean that someone with a 4.6 modular can't also enjoy and have fun with his or her car.

I have no allegiance to Ford. My fav pony car from that time is a 02 WS6. When I went to go look at 00-04 toys to play with, the WS6 cost almost 6 to 10k more. I couldn't find a WS6 barely used with under 10k miles for less than 18-24k. My GT had a little over 8k miles on it, flawless, and I paid 10k for it. With the 8-13k I saved, I can make my little 4.6 modular faster. Plus, I prefer the live rear axel. That, and I've always liked the body styling of the NewEdge too. When I tire of this 4.6, it will be replaced with something bigger

Or I might just sell it and get one of the new 2011 5.0 400HP GTs.

Don't confuse me with a Ford or Mustang fanboy trying to troll the forums acting as if my car is faster. I'm not that person. GM makes awesome/fun cars. If I could afford it, I'd buy a ZR1.

Ke^in you are taking this section way too seriously. Also my name is Kevin so you need to stop making me look bad.

But seriously calm down some and just enjoy it here without getting too high strung. I'm sure if you had enough money at your disposal you could make a 2v sohc make 480rwhp N/A. But at the end of the day more people than not will be asking you "why?". I don't know about you but I want to go as fast as possible spending as little as possible.

Hmm not sure why I am being seen as serious. I have a wife that constantly claims that I am not serious enough. Not "un calm" I was actually glad this thread was dead for the time it was. Stopsign, and I agree with you there. But for some reason I have people arguing with me about saying 1. A n/a 2v can be modded to beat a LS1 and 2. You can't get N/A 400 from a 2v stang with tw heads. On top of that, all kinds of other weird arguments get all mixed up.

Regardless, I would never say my mood here was anything close to being uptight, or upset, or any other of those ups. I have pretty thin skin. Especially after being an admin on a IRC server in the 90s. It makes this place look cultured

Anyhow, this thread from now on is about yarn

This has gone to hell and back, nothing new to add to the general LSX/Modular information.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year everyone
