Default 72 SS vs 02 z06 vs unkown year viper

i'm new here figured i'd add my final kill which happened little over a month ago...i'm in the chevelle last night i had it out...i'm at sunoco puttin some gas in and a red Z06 and a Black viper pull in two of the biggest homos ive ever seen get out...one of em approachs me and says "350?" i say yup...he just starts laughin and says you wanna run my viper...i said..sure why not...throw in the Z06 and we got us a real race..he goes over and talks to his buddy...they both come over say sure...i take em out to an old escape road in town and took em both out BAD...i'm so glad i had the mickey thompsons on that night...after caving their doors in they stop and say "you cheated you have NAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWS" i said nope..lift the hood they see the 454 valve covers "you never told us you had a 454" my reply...didn't ask ahhh i love it car i payed 3,000 for put 2,500 into the motor and can take out a 50-80,000 sports cars drag racing..

i used to love doing that with my 3rd gen with a 350 punched out with 305 heads on it... madd compression.

Nice kills, but didn't the guy say 350?
Oh well, no harm in it as long as there was no $$$ involved.

no ideas on times.i got the engine in and never got time to bring it to the track or dyno...i estimate atleast 550Rwhp...ets who knows atleast mid 11's...stock form the engine made 450hp at the flywheel with 9:5:1 pistons .480lift cam,small headers,dual plane intake and a 750cfm carb now shes bored .030 over 10:7:1,.550 lift cam roller tip rockers,Single Plane high rise intake ans 2'' headers with a 3.5'' collecter...850cfm carb right now i wanna switch to a dominator

What makes the 305 heads better anyways, the smaller combustion chambers?

Nice kill(s)! I wonder how my turtle would do with a Viper. Get that tank to a track and post some times.

SouthFL, the guy DID say 350, but the 454 does have at least 350!

yeah thats exactly it ..they use the same valvs as the 350's same ports bolt right up but the dome on em is way lower. so basicaly its a realy cheap realy plentifull way to boost your compression without restricting your flow. ... its a good ******* thing.



i love that the coffie mugg thing is still funny
